The Start of my DIY Co2 laser build and a tour of my home built CNC workshop - pt1.

I have decided to build a Co2 laser and figured I might as well video the process. This video includes a basic tour of my workshop. I have built several CNC machines over the years including machine tool conversion but at the moment I have a CNC Plasma table and Router along with a 3d Printer and diode laser.
The laser will have a power of up to 100 watts and an approximate cutting area of 1200 x 700mm with a z-axis of about 180mm but that will be determined as I go along, hopefully not too much smaller though.
I am new to KZbin video making so please don't expect high production values but I hope to improve :o)

Hey there, I managed to stuff up the f360 model. It sort of looks ok but doesn't match the final build totaly. I have put my email address in the channel description if you would like to see it.

Nice project. What do you use for working table of diode laser?

It's some old adjustable retail shop shelving with a bit of MDF screwed to the top.
