Their fission plastic for the most part has always had a noticeable dome compared to their regular plastics. My fission Insanity has an actual dome to it while my plasma and proton Insanity’s are board flat. But I have been noticing more dome from their stock neutron discs like the Wave. So that’s exciting!

My proton insanity is the most consistent disc I have. Until you knock massive chunks out of the soft plastic that is.

Interesting what you say about dome. I used to love domey discs until I started throwing flat ones. Something about them, I just get more distance and more accuracy out of them. I think it's a lot of mental stuff with hand feel though

Yeah confidence is way more important than a +/- 15-20 feet on drives, regardless. I like flat discs, just not for my max distance stuff

It's the fission. My neutron Rhythm has way less dome than my fission one. And same with my Insanitys and Craves. The fission has more dome. I also find it quite a bit more understable.

I've really been wanting to mix in a Fission Insanity into the mix... Are your Fissions lighter weight?

@@ArmoryDiscGolf for fissions my Rhythms are (156 and 164), my Insanity is 174 and my crave is 172. They're all pretty equally domey.

My fission rhythm is 154 and it turned into a roller after about a month of heavyish use. There was a week period where it was the perfect fadeless turnover disc

@@whyroader yeah. I don't even bag the fission Hexes anymore because they'll turn when I don't want them to. I really like the stability of Proton though.

I've been throwing the Rhythm for about 3 weeks and I love it. I have a couple 154g Fission discs and a 160g Fission. The 160 is more stable than the others.

I've had the Rhythm and a Drift. Both flew more like an FD1 when they were new. My new Grace (which i purchased at Armory 😊) turned better for me. Great content!!!

I use the Crave for my straight fairway. I just ordered the Kastaplast Stig to try for my turnover fairway. 😆 I'm 51 years old, and have only been playing for about 16 months, and I have over 100 discs. Houston, we have a problem. I'll definitely be purchasing more from Armory. Keep up the good work

Compared to underworld or ascend is it more or less stable? Also, I’m having trouble finding the fish in plastic, so I was thinking about getting the neutron plastic. Is that less or more stable than fission?

Haven't thrown either of those myself, but from what I've seen I think these are a touch more stable than those other options. Fission should be more stable in a comparable weight, but a 165 Fission (for example) would almost certainly be less stable than a max weight neutron

im looking to replace my leopard. What's your recommendation? I want something slightly wider rim that I can hyzer flip. Im considering a f5, drift, rhythm, maverick, or patriot but im open to other recommendations.

I currently bag a Jackalope for that slot. If we had an orange-rimmed Rhythm, I would probably be bagging that instead haha. You can also go up to a 9ish speed and go a little less stable for something like a Roadrunner or Virus, depending on what is more comfortable for you to throw 👍

@@ArmoryDiscGolf I have a beat in dynasty that is slightly flippy in that 9 speed range, I’d like something that turns but has a softer finish so I think a slower disc would accomplish that well. I might check out the jackalope, I do like mint

I've been throwing the Legacy discs Patriot for many years. It originally replaced the Leopard for me. I use it constantly in the woods. A beat in 168 g pinnacle one can go 375-400 ft on a rope. I've tried a few other 7 5 -2 1 flight discs but always stick with the Patriot. Legacy is kinda underrated.

Legacy is definitely underrated. I've heard nothing but good things about the Patriot specifically. Not a huge fan of their aesthetic though, personally

I got a neutron one a few weeks and and it's flat ad hell, and more overstable than the numbers would indicate. I should have waited and gotten a fission.

I'm a big fan. The Neutron ones are a tick less stable than this, as are the lighter weight Fission.
