Just a heads up but with 60 mining you have access to the mining guild just south of the south east falador bank which also happens to be the closest iron and coal to a bank. Plus when you start smelting alot the edgeville furnace is the closest to a bank. Hope that helps save some time later on

I assumed the mining guild would be filled with bots, but I'll have to check it out when I get back to mining. Thanks for the tip!

Unless things have changed recently, yes smithing one is the only way to get a rune scimmy in F2P 😅
