How about "advent calendar wooden pegs" for your advent socks? You could peg them as if on a washing line. That would be cute. I have found some online.

I will check them out and see what option I settle on. I am looking forward to finishing the knitting and bringing it all together.

Hello Jen, I absolutely love you and your podcast! When I found it a month ago, I binged watched all of your videos within two days. You got me thinking about ways to use up my scrap yarn

Hi Jen , I'm in Alberta and gifted myself the saltwater classics books for Christmas last year. I made the boots socks with the Briggs & Little Heritage wool and am over the moon to make all the things with that yarn ! I have yet to tackle colour work but those wee Christmas socks look adorable and are now on my have to do list ! lol P.S. I love a great fingerless mitten too. :D

Aren't fingerless mittens great? Briggs and Little can be a little rustic but, my goodness, it's durable! And warm!

I am stunned that you 🐸 the whole blanket and super-impressed by how quickly you re-knit it. 🙌 It looks great! Watching in Wisconsin.

I'm actually shocked at how quickly I knit it back up too!

I love staycations!! Cannot wait for the Victoria Day weekend... I will set up my patio and have a staycation of washing wool, spinning, knitting and gardening. Which is why this weekend I have to work to get the garden ready to plant because next weekend, I don't want any hard work. I've resisted casting on so many new things but I have listed a few things that have caught my eye including my Saltwater Books knitting. That Turnback cap looks so nautical! Great job! Love the colours you picked for your fire season blanket! Vintersol is slow progress for me too but I need to get fiddle practice in the evening as well. Sending you cheers to getting some Vintersol knitting done! I'll focus on mine more too this week. I also use Stephanie's sock recipe for my vanilla socks! I've just started using a toe up version for magic loop of another vanilla which makes for variety. I have one of each cast on at the moment. I cannot wait to spend time by the ocean this summer! Walking and knitting all day and fiddle and reading at night. I'll be in the Eastern part of NB this year. Riley loves the ocean! Happy week!! 😄

Oh, your Victoria Day weekend staycation sounds divine! Vintersol can be a little hard on the hands...I think it's the combination of the Lopi with the tighter gauge...so I work on it in little stretches. I love the gauge it's in though so it's worth it! I've been thinking about beach days lately too! I don't like the heat but I love beach hikes!

Hi, just discovered you and glad I did. I'm a very recent transplant to the Maritimes, just outside Fredericton, NB, from toronto so its great to see another east coaster! I love your Fire Season blanket, what a great idea.

For the bandana, I'd keep it, and aggressively block it. If that doesn't work, then frog it 🐸

Hi Jen! I live in Southern Maine and I also have two orange cats (Otto & Opal). The first hat you showed looked great on you! Looking forward to your reorg. Now heading over to Ravelry to find out more about summer sock camp!

Hello! I'm hoping to pop over to Maine at some point this summer when I'm visiting my bother in NB. I have a passport that I never used yet and I've never been to the States. Even if it's just to go and have dinner somewhere or see a nice park. Otto and Opal are adorable names. I love orange cats, especially in pairs!

Hello from the Yukon Jen! I really enjoy your videos and I too am trying to knit through my stash. And when I purchase something new if I’m not using it immediately I gift something old from my stash to another knitter. I started doing that recently and it really lightened the mental load. Now if I could only do something about my project bag addiction.

Hello! My brother visited Whitehorse for work a few years ago and he found Itsy Bitsy Yarn shop. He got me a kit for a buffalo check hat, which is one of m favourite hats and some caribou antler buttons. I put them on my Oban cardigan. Glad to hear you're finding ways to reduce the stash fog. It does really become overwhelming over time!

Gosh I’m so jealous of your stash busting progress 😂 But I am knitting two Marie Wallin sweaters and a complex lace shawl, so it’s just too much complicated fingering weight stuff to move quickly 😵💫 Work on your winter sol! It’s gorgeous!!

@@Thestashdowndiaries I’m officially obsessed 😍 But they do take forever, use a ton of yarn, and the older patterns aren’t size inclusive. At least it’s like a years worth of knitting for how much it costs 😂
