In 1952, young naval officer Jimmy Carter helped contain a nuclear reactor meltdown in Chalk River, Canada. Trained in nuclear engineering, Carter led a U.S. team into the reactor, dismantling it piece by piece. Facing immense radiation risks, their bravery prevented disaster. Carter exemplified the long friendship between Canada and the USA - two proud, independent, democratic nations - let’s keep it that way! 🇨🇦🇺🇸 Just an FYI for your incoming president there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada will join the USA.
