While I agree with many points, and it's good to see a bleed video, Hook Lu and Pequod Heath perform much better for me than Meursault and PQ Ishamael. However, im going to try swapping PQ heath for Meursault and see how it feels. The team comp I've been using to farm MD is (lvl 1566) : Ring Sang Ring Outis Red Eyes Ryoshu Hook Lu PQ Heath Grippy Faust Supports are very similar to the ones in your video and don't need an ego to make them viable, as in the case for Meursault.

I personally switch out Hook Lu for Pirate Gregor due to Garden of Thorns, Lust Resonance and (mostly) damage. You can stack bleed count so easily with just The Ring IDs.

First of all, great video once again, i think that your analysis tend to be pretty closely accurate most of the time, that said, as much as i have a lot of praise for this bleed analysis, i do have some personal points that i would like to discuss with everyone here about (Quick Disclaimer: just to make it 100% clear, this comment is not to entice any kind of hate, but rather to talk about and discuss about some points that are, in my opinion, deserving of talking about) : 1) The Ranking. l'll be completely honest and say that as much as i'm a bleed simp, right now, as of the end of season 4, i don't believe that bleed is above sinking, but rather they are both on the same grounds of power level (rupture would be too if they had good support), and as such i would put bleed one tier down, i'd even put it below sinking for the mere fact that, right now, sinking count is easier to maintain than bleed count (in general). 2) The IDs and EGOs. Here, i believe that for the most part it was all good all around, but, i'd like to talk about the team focusing more on the damage of bleed itself and less on the damage of the IDs, as such i will be focusing on the aspect of bleed application and maintaining here: -Ring Sang, Ring Outis, NFaust are obvious choices so no comments here. -R Meursault is great too, but i just want to mention that IN CASE, Regret is not needed for a fight, then Electric Screaming also becomes a valid EGO to setup for an upcoming S3 when you are low on charge (though Regret is still better ofc) -Pequod Heathcliff is also a good addition, but i would like to point out that besides BL Don's support passive, Fell Bullet EGO is also a notewhorty mention for him. -For Ryoshu there is a lot of debate whether REP or KK, but i agree that both are good for bleed, so i just want to put foward the rule of thumb for which one to use for anyone in doubt: if your other 4-5 IDs can keep count going and/or the enemy has low coin count on skills, then take REP, else, take KK. -As you said, Hook Lu is a good ID for the team, my only critique on the video is that i would've put him in place of Pequod Ishmael on the first team, given that he has a similar S3 to her but at least has actual bleed potency and count application. -Talking about Pequod Ishmael, she is probably the ID i'd recommend the least for bleed (when focusing on using the status itself to deal good damage), the ID itself is an ID that tries to do a lot but accomplishes too little, having bleed + burn + poise + a-resonance on her kit while focusing on pierce damage, and while she works greatly on a-resonance, poise and pierce teams, when it comes to burn and bleed she lets the team down, only really serving as a big beat stick due to offering very little application for these 2 effects, focusing on bleed specifically, she only applies 2 potency on each skill while offering only 1 count on S3. that said, in the future when IDs with good bleed count or good unique bleed on S1, then Pequod Ishmael might earn her place back on the team, but right now i'd say that Hook Lu does her damage dealing job on bleed teams but better, given that he actually applies good bleed while also dealing damage. -Now about Sanguine Desire Rodion, while i get the deliberate omission due to Rodion lacking a good bleed ID, i'd argue that it was at least deserving of a mention, but i'd go further and say that the pros of the EGO can outweight the cons of a bad ID on cenarios where the enemy has mostly high coin count IDs, where in order to keep up the count, SD's effect becomes a must, furthermore, SD offers a pretty good Lust nuke once you've got a lot of bleed going on, which allows your damage to scale against low coin count enemies; as for IDs,while i get that there is a lack of good bleed IDs for Rodion, i'd argue that not only is her KK ID worth the shoot just for the access to SD, but her LCB too and even her Liu ID are worth, and that's why: --KK serves as good stat stick for bearing SD, specially with S2 offering 5 potency, S3 rolling pretty high without conditionals and also offering more pride resources through her S3 and counter, plus, with a little luck, S2 into S3 can make S3 apply 10 potency (though that's not reliable); --LCB on the other hand rolls pretty low (11/12/12) but can offer a lot of potency thanks to her passive (KK is better still); --Now, Liu is a strange case at first, offering no bleed whatsoever and only having burn instead, specially after what i said about Pequod Ishmael, the thing is, differently from Ahabmael, Liu Rodion can more-or-less maintain burn by herself which is great in helping the RIng IDs to trigger their reuse coin conditions, plus, she fuels 3/4ths of SD. 3) This point is less about anything said in the video specifically but rather some advices that i don't see people mention much but that are important for people starting off on playing bleed, which is the potency to count ratio of bleed that you should be aiming for, this is a little complex, but the main idea is that you want to keep your bleed count at least 2 above the total coin count of an enemy/enemy part, that means that if an enemy/part has a lot of coin count per turn, you should be aiming to bring as much bleed count support as possible, while on the other hand, if the enemy/part has low coin count, then you should aim for more potency oriented IDs, lets say for example you have 2 enemies: -A has uses an average of 10 coins per turn; -B uses an average of 5 coins per turn; For A, keeping your count high can make you deal 200 damage per turn just by having your bleed potency at a low-ish 20 and focusing on keeping the count up, meanwhile, to deal that same 200 damage per turn on B, you'd need double the potency at the cost of half the count needed. Now, that's just considering pure clashing, different from Sinking and Rupture, who have to hit the enemy, bleed just needs the enemy to roll their coins to deal damage, this means that if you have a lot of count, you can force the enemy to take more bleed damage than average by doing things like: -Forcing a clash with around neutral odds, since ties on clash results in more bleed damage to the enemy, and so does losing a clash,since they will roll coins on the clash AND on the attack; -Attacking with high coin count low power skills into Evades, specially after winning a clash, bonus points for triggering the evade early but not winning it early; -Holding on skill damage that would stagger as much as possible, this ensures that the enemy will use as many skills as possible during a turn before staggering, specially given that bleed itself doesn't trigger staggers. As is said before, i've been loving the videos and this includes this one, i just wanted to bring forth some points that (for me, my personal opinion) were not as good as some others, this comment isn't mean to incite any negativity but rather to bring some discussion on the table.

Some notable corrections: dawnclair is the best support passive you can get for sinclair. While it won't activate super often, (still about as often as nclair hitting ryoshu) it will be a massive boost in consistency to ring IDs Sinking atm is better vs bosses that are gloom endure or weaker because of deluge letting them 2 turn almost everything. Where bleeds niche is right now is mixed content due to one specific ego setup leaving it quite good vs AOE content. A 5 lust reso outis dimshredder with contempt awe and 1 other AOE ego will 1 turn clear any pecca wave (with the exception of khong from forgery). This in addition to just less.setup time makes hook lu generally better than rhino in the team (and i would recommend that team vs any bosses that throw 10 coins/turn at you) However, if you can get away with it, (with our current id selection we cannot) your best option is to run double kk support with slot 1 rcliff. This allows his s2 to inflict a whopping 9 potency, and QS is QS. Vs exactly the king in binds, it may be worth it to replace red eyes with kk ryoshu, as it will throw 15 coins at you on its 4th turn, which will set you back to square one if you dont think you can use that to kill it on that turn

I see you specialize in optimizing Refraction Railway, but my video is more focused on general usage in all parts of the game (this is to say that I expect this video to stay relevant for a bit after the release of new content). Also in the team I provided there is not enough Wrath to proc a 3-res without ego, and by the time you get to use Regret, the enemy will likely be already inflicted with a number of debuffs, oftetimes Burn included. Though it's true that my NClair choice is also very impractical, so I guess they're the same in that way. Still, thanks for your perspective! It's always fun to read how people have optimized RR teams, cuz I usually don't have the time to test auch a large number of IDs over such a long stretch of encounters. Also please let me know how you "2 turn everything" with Deluge.

@@ultranumhere generally the 2 turn deluge is the classic rime shank + molar ishmael massive sinking stack combined with a turn 2 deluge and whatever sinking count neutral skills you can use (wh heath s3 is also very nice here for +3/2) It's quite trivial to get yisangs s3 to 800+ damage this way (potentially 1k+ if you can throw away resources to corrode rime shank) And with decent luck you can push it even further. Due to the resistance shifting capabilities of time moratorium, it is also quite possible to 3 turn gloom ineff. bosses as well.

@ultranumhere the general speedrun strat for bygone days is just charge with a level 1 tcorp rodion to apply moratorium on the turn master painting is revealed and get out of the way by dying. This lets you transfer damage from one turn of 8 prot to 5 fragile, and change the damage type to sloth with a multiplicative 20% bonus

I'll bring up one weird gimmick you can do instead of regret meursault. Rhino Meur requires a certain amount of speed to get his bonus bleed count on s2, and surgery from screwloose wallop can convert some max HP into even more power and permanent haste. It just depends on how much you need him to clash i suppose

Personally, i have kurokumo(and meurasault)+Shi asociation togheter for mdh because of the shi ego gift boosting slash (basicly 7/12 sinners), and bleed egos like red preast veing EASY to get. Have anothe bleed Posie team with peequed+middle id, stick the red eyes ryoshu here for support (chef also works) and hook yonglu and gregor. This make the team heavy blunt/pierce with pride and envy heavy, making it an interesting contrast to pure Blade Leanage team with slash focus, but sith red preast and faust unique bleed does pretty wild damage

i know its a month long go the video but discovered now so. say for a comb to increase ryoshu's ReP attack i swap capt ish for reinder ish. with nclair and reindeer ish's support. ryoshu's attack goes +20% raw. and easier to set cause she generates gloom on its firts coin rather than wrath's needed for nclair. (edit) forget to say, with gregor's manor passive to reduce sp and lvl up gloom damage (a minor plus actually) i maintain her with that +20% every turn. little tricky sometimes but very easy to set.

Bleed is NOT better than sinking Sinking has: -a better ego pool (has access to BO, binds, rime shank, solemn lament gregor and can use these egos without much detriment) -better ids overall that can actually attain their coin conditionals within a reasonable timeframe, unlike bleed which has a longtime potency problem -erlking who gets 6 damage up and 4 atk weight on his s2 in chain battles ontop of having a stupid nuke (that gets a little bricked by middlesaults support passive but it's not too bad if you play correctly) -an 8 coin ego skill that you can use with 3 damage up (minimum) that is also super cheap -more well rounded damage types -more flexibility and is: -infinitely easier to stack and significantly more rewarding -infinitely easier to use in chain battles -only worse in terms of 0 sp content because bleed has whistles, but this isn't too much of a problem since bosses with sp are already losing to sinking (with one outlier), ontop of joutis being able to immediately jump to 20+ sp as a safety net +butterfly +echoes to keep them down (still not as good as rausts plus coin drop in tremor but it's still neat to have) -better for speedclears in content that's not pierce and/or lust weak Bleed has: -potency issues as stated above which make their coin conditionals alot harder to get (this especially applies to how you use kuro ryoshu instead of redshu knowing that redshu's potency infliction is basically the best near unconditional bleed infliction in the game and is very easily the better unit I genuinely don't understand why you did this it's not worth it) -a dependency on the encounter more than sinking ever has, because bleeds value is related to how much coins and/or parts the abno has ontop of the already asscancer setup you need to go through to setup count and potency. Unlike sinking which can just use rime shank and maintain it from there as long as you manage erlking and dierod properly, and has good nukes regardless of gloom resistance. Ontop of this, your count management is significantly worse if you don't have good RNG. Ringsang is obvious, Hooklu has the warp sang problem where he needs to use his skill 2 twice in order to get the value you want out of it, rsault can still roll low -a deficiency in damage types (no slash damage unless you use kurolu and pray you can use cloudcutter before ringsang procs one instance of bleed) -ringsang who is debatably the best id in the game right now from a purely generalist and luxvation perspective Bleed is: -better in md -better in super short 0 sp content with no resource carryover (dailies and story) -worse in competitive content like rr especially with pms current and future design philosophy of chain battles -harder and currently unrewarding to stack While I do enjoy your videos attempting to answer more delicate and nuanced questions regarding limbus gameplay, I find your arguments strange at best and blood vessel bursting at worst, your standards questionable, your teambuilding even more questionable, and your tierlist completely disgusting. Me personally I wouldn't put poise in ''OP'' considering chain battle meta being inherently bad for poise economy as your poise is bound to reset at some point (unless you're nellyshu or a bl that isn't kimsault) and you simply cannot clear content that fast because of a genuinely mindboggling resource deficiency, ontop of being the only team in this entire game to not have any form of blunt damage but it's your video so what do I know

If i already have the Ring and N IDs, who should I prioritize? I also have KK Hong Lu and Ryoshu but haven't leveled or uptied them. I've been using Zwei Ish and Cinq Meursault to take advantage of blunt+pierce and add more negative conditions on enemies to enable the Ring skill 2's. Have been able to push story at a 5 level deficit with no issue but wasn't sure if transitioning to full bleed would be better.

I think that Kurokumo c. c. Gregor can be a solid choice for a bleed team. In MD he gets his boost pretty fast, as Le Red Bug and a bit of gifts can allow him to get to that threshold, bonus to that, his third skill inflict additional 2 offence level down and a plus coin drop ar +7 bleed in addition to the standard two offence level down, as it is not that hard to keep up that bleed level. Outside of MD I still do think that it’s not that hard to upkeep such bleed level in focused encounters … but not in most of the human fights, sadly

First why do I use Lob Remnant Faust over N Faust? 1.N Faust's passive is helping my burn team. 2. Lob Remnant Faust can set up Hex Nail better because she can get haste on herself. 3. Rhino Meurasult has the problem of being a charge and bleed ID. Your team will only support 1 of this 2, mostly bleed. So the problem is charge (and sin afinities for Resonance sometimes) Mjnd you the charge problem get solve with uptie 4 to the point he goes 15 charge easy, but the high cost of uptie 4 is what hold him back, without it he harly goes avobe 10 charge on his own.

as strong as ringsang is... i kinda hate using him for bleed teams due to status mixing. Not a fan of that gimmick at all because i wanted to mono-type status usually. I usually have more fun suffering kuro rodion poise bs for the high of landing that sky clearing cut crit. I do pray for better poise count support though, because she needs HELP. i love getting +1 poise count from a skill in a game where poise goes down -1 per turn. I pray for kuro support in the future, because i do like all the kuro IDs, but they all have individual issues

I wanna gather some thoughts on kurokumo rodian because as far as I see their numbers are decent with the conditionals and they apply good bleed potency but nobody ever talks about them. If anyone can give me an answer in the replies that would be great.

@theboredgamer7236 very poor real Bleed infliction(s1 and s3 literallydon'tapply any bleed). Also no count throughout her kit at all, and she's slash damage so she doesn't get buffed by Gaze. She's really weak, and that's holding back Sanguine Desire as well.

@@ultranumhere the s3 inflicts 10 bleed on crit with a conditional stating that the crit chance doubles when the enemy has 6+ bleed on them which when running a bleed team is basically a guarantee. plus if you are running a bleed team like the first one you said I consider the bleed count more or less a non-issue due to the low coin count of her skills. but I agree with the Gaze issue and thanks for the reply :D Edit: I'm rereading her kit rn at uptie 3 and I definitely see an issue with poise upkeep and tbh she really doesn't seem amazing. the main reason I want to use her is due to sanguine but you said she holds it back so I probably won't use her,

Bleed count would always end up depending on coin the enemy rolls. Bosses with lots of coin make it hard to keep, and those with low make it hard to do damage. For example, for the pride boss weekly i use captain ish and yi sang, kurokumo ryoshu and hog lu, and captain gregor The boss does 6-8 coin flips per turn, meaning you have to keep that count. The problem is that apart from ryoshu yi sang and gregor are crit dependant to ge t heavy count. So battle could go 2 refresh every skill, or stack of 25/6 never going down.

I have a bad feeling regarding the future of bleed team in the next canto being not so bright in my opinion at least until the time when the Don seasonal ID will arrive and the one that gave me that feeling is regarding the whole Ring Yi Sang situation.. If everyone else here didn't know, Ring Yi Sang is probably one of the only cases where PM admitted themselves that he is too broken for the game that PM at first wants his kit to be reworked/nerfed with free compensation just like what happened with LCCB Ryoshu but the player base didn't want that to happen so they just left it alone after the outrage.. My whole rationale is basically PM will still nerf Ring Yi Sang but more indirectly, which means the 'nerf' will be targeting on the future potential of upcoming bleed IDs having good synergy with him, making bleed teams possibly being so gimped in their strength compared to sinking IDs in this canto.

There is another approach to this. After Yi Sang's release we got a huge increase in the power of Tremor teams with reverb and everlasting, and in the last couple of months we have been steadily getting better and better Sinking content, increasing the power of that team by a lot as well. My bet is that the game will experience its first PM Power spike™, and Tremor and Sinking are intended to be rivals to Bleed in the boss fight department. This way Yi Sang doesn't need to be nerfed, but he will feel a lot less oppressive if certain story encounters cater to Tremor/Sinking more than to Bleed. This way PM can also keep adding interesting and strong Bleed IDs without ruining the game, as they will further increase the power of Bleed in the stages that it's already good in, while not infringing on the niches of other teams.
