Man, Spencer is not a starting quarterback in this league. He’s a backup. He shows flashes in which he makes good plays, but the offense can’t generate much energy. Even with Olave and Kamara in place, the offense still didn’t do much. He did well versus Washington off the bench and Tampa. However, the other games seemed too big for him. Turnovers are huge. He’s better than Haener. We definitely need a back up quarterback behind Carr. Get him weapons and we’ll be better. Best player available on offense in the draft. Even running back. If he’s the best player, Ashton Jeanty, then get him

Hell no. Lambeau is the cathedral of sports, you don't put a dome on their. Hell, southern teams use heat and humidity for an advantage and this is football weather. When we were great, we had 3 running backs. Remember? Bush, Thomas, Bell 09 Super Bowl run. Jeanty, Kamara, and Miller. Add a tight end in the 2nd round and defense for the rest of the draft.

Saying Rattler is only a backup in his career is weird considering how rookie qbs start off in the nfl on a regular bases. Daniels is kinda rare. Look how Bo Nix started it was horrible. Williams #1 overall started horribly, the only rookie from this highly taughted class that started and looked like a franchise QB was and is Daniels. He needs to grow but he is not going to grow missing a number 1 rb and your number 1,2,3 wr. Im not even a big Rattler fan i just think yall going too hard in this situation. Mccoy played what 2-3 snaps. He showed flashes but what do yall expect from him in this situation. I would hope they would trade for Willis in greenbay. First-time listener. Very much enjoyed the podcast. The Saints enjoyed a fantastic 15-year run but in my view they should have started the rebuild process a year or two before Brees retired. Completely agree with you guys that the rebuild is upon you now for sure. Agree that it’s overdue to move on from Loomis. However, I thought he pulled off a great trade for Lattimore with the Commanders. In fact, it was laughably good for the Saints as Lattimore has barely played this season. The Saints’ biggest challenge is that somehow they managed to win five games this season and are sitting number 10 in a draft which has a very thin QB class. They play the 3-12 Raiders this week, so getting win number six is a possibility even with their broken roster. And they’d take a massive cap hit to move on from Carr. So, fixing the QB situation won’t be easy. Also, agree that Rattler is arguably not the answer at QB given his body of work thus far. He throws a nice ball, but he doesn’t protect it, especially when sacked.

Carr is the REAL thing. A true NFL QB. He has all the tools with the current roster. All our 1st string players are injured. Carr makes them all work out. They thrive with Carr, cause he knows how to make them look good. Not to mention they have confidence in his professional leadership! Mend and heal up in the offseason. Then with Physical endurance training and muscle and ligament strengthening, they won't be prone to injuries like when they come up to the manhandling teams like the Eagles next year. Strength and endurance is the answer for the Saints. Do that and we'll go all the way!
