Shush, Judi. I sing barbershop, my ear's more trained than yours; his voice was having issues, but mostly not PITCH ones. Some sliding. Tone and intonation from the cold, but he was hitting the NOTES on-target even as he strained at the top of his range (he apparently is falsetto-less right now). --Dave, listen again, and figure out what you're ACTUALLY wincing at. It may be "he doesn't sound like my Dad". But 'totally flat'? Not onna tintype.
