I had to find and hear this song tonight, for my Mother. She recently passed away, and I miss her more than I could ever say. She always supported me, especially after my Near Death during what was then called a Terminal Illness. I heard from GOD in Christ Jesus, and still do. I learned how GOD speaks to us in many ways, at all times. She believed me as I told her of the ways He speaks, and the signs HE sends to let us know that HE knows our hearts. One night, after my father who had Cancer went to bed, she couldn't sleep and decided to read in the Living Room so as not to disturb him. She picked up her book on her dresser and left the bedroom, and when she opened the book, she realized that she had picked up my Grandmother's Hymnal, and it was turned to this Hymn. Since she didn't want to wake up my father by going back into the bedroom, she decided to turn on the T.V., and when she turned it on to the channel it had been on, which was not a 'Religious' Station...this Hymn was playing. She called me immediately at 3 o'clock in the morning to tell me what happened. She was all excited as she did, and asked me if that was a 'sign'. I was so grateful that she 'got it'... That she received it... And that she called me, and asked. GOD is indeed Great, and HIS Grace is all encompassing, and merciful, and with us in our darkness, as well as in our joy. This was for you Mom... I love you, miss you, and I hope and pray that you can see this, or hear me whispering as I type it out. Amen ❤❤❤❤

My Mother didn't have a car back in the day so she would walk us kids to a church that was in the edge of the woods twice on Sunday and on Thursday. Now everytime I hear this song I think about her and that little church. Rest in peace Momma. I love you and miss you so much. You were the best Mother God could have ever blessed us with. You were the best Mother in the world.
