Muuuch different. It's an asymmetrical shape and a lot shorter. The curves on the left back side are completely different of course as well!

Good video! Does the mouse tell you if it's fully charged if you choose not to install the software? For example the LED lights up green or something else?

The RGB lights up at a specific color when you start using the mouse, green is for like 80-100%!

I love my Prime Mini Wireless so far, but my biggest complaint is the sharpness of the side buttons. I use them for push-to-talk and holding them down and pressing them a lot makes my thumb kinda sore after a while. I don’t mind the size, just the sharp ridge in the middle of them. I got mine directly from Steelseries with the Black Friday deal you mentioned, so the cost was a bit more fair than the normal $130.

LOL 'a bit more fair' - that thing was worth £60-70 ABSOLUTE MAX and at the end of 2023 early 2024 it's worth £39.99 absolute max - at £33.99 the Attack Shark X3 absolute trounces it if you can handle the petite size. To clarify I have had the Prime Mini Wireless a while, I paid a rather expensive £50 for it early 2023 but since the shape is SOOOO good for me I kept it. GREAT MOUSE at £40 IMO, but absolutely no more for half assed performance, old tech, abysmal side buttons and heavy ass weight and clicks. The reality check consumers need for how OVERPRICED these products actually are and how BRAINWASHED by marketing they are, is VERY REAL.

Here it is April of 2022 and their pricing is random and low. I got the Prime Wireless, Prime+, and Prime Mini for around $50 from Amazon. used, of course, but honestly better than buying something new and getting disappointed that it's not for you...or for me for the sheer fact that the finish is just too slippery for my dry hands. None of them stay comfortably in my grip. The right-side shape makes them twist and zip out of my grip any time I pick it up to readjust, haha. I'm pretty bummed about it because these things are otherwise EXCEPTIONAL quality.

its all about shape i got 20y old Microsoft wheel optical 1.1a and its a best shape ever. ive tried roughly 50 mouses so far. and none of them as good as microsoft picked mini prime brand new for £50 lets see how it goes

weird that optical clicks would have this much latency. What have you tested it against and did you test it wired too? it could just be that the click is heavier and therefor activates slower in a bump test or it might have the anti slam click when you lift the mouse causing additional latency when you lift it

Slam click prevention doesn't add that much firmware, and it's sadly not just the fact that the clicks are heavier! All the info is in the vid 💪

I'm guessing the Mini is closer to the EC2 than the standard. Can you comment on the button height? The outset AX buttons are too tall for me, but EC2 is a good fit. How does the Mini compare?

Similar button height to EC2, it feels quite a bit smaller than the EC2 though.

It could be why the clicks do not feel responsive, but for the testing.. Not really. The clicks just are bad in terms of responsiveness because of they are heavy and because the click response times are high!

This mouse is build like a tank for its size . Its price on sale is very competitive also. But its main buttons are the heaviest I have ever used , and perhaps the loudest!!!! I wish there was a standar for a switch types and reviewers could compair . Size is king of course but the heaviness of the clicks are also very imrortant

The sensor is far back in relation to your grip, also meaning your wrist pivot ark has basically way way lesser sensitivity than for example the GPX - which you commented about the forward sensor in your review of it resulting in you needing to drop the sense - this is massively overlooked by people, STIIIIIIIILL. I have always been 15 years ahead, the things I was saying all that time ago, it's great to watch these last few years unfold and basically see I am right about literally everything ;D (to do with mice, weight, skates, shape, ETC - EVERYTHING)
