I'd have to say my favorite SteelSeries product is the Apex Pro with their Omnipoint switches. They have the lowest response time for a keyboard - 0.7ms and that customizable actuation force and distance is a real killer in the game!

I don’t actually own a steelseries product, but I gotta give props to their headsets and their built in microphones. They may not be THE BEST, but on the Arctis 3, it's a pretty decent value for what it sounds like. I was thinking about getting one for my friend as a graduation gift, but I am a bit short on cash.

My favourite steel series product is the Apex pro keyboard; the variable actuation distance is a game changer for people who want one keyboard for everything; I can have sensitive keys for time critical key presses (which differ game to fame) and then I can also have uniform actuation distance when I want to type something on windows.

Favourite SteelSeries product is the Rival 600. Why? Well Techne there's something about that TrueMove 3+ sensor that works so well for me, it's the snappiest I've had (more than 3066/Hero or 3389) and that depth/lift off sensor is very useful when switching mousemats made off different tracking surfaces or using thicker after market mouse feet. Hell I even double stacked 0.7mm (+1.4mm) corepadad skatez for the lulz and still tracks fine! My only gripe is the split silicone grips on the right side were the ringfinger and pinky are suposed to rest. They fixed that on the Rival 5 and Prime+ which are his successor mice!

My favorite steelseries product would definitely have to be the Steelseries Siberia V2 Headset. I've had them ever since I was in High School back in 2012 and have been using them until September 2019 just before I moved to Canada from the Philippines. I had to leave them behind because I'd want to use them again with my old PC back home when I could return but this pandemic really just killed that dream of returning... Steelseries has a special place in my heart because pretty much my whole setup was steelseries from the Kinzu, to the Apex 150, but nothing will beat the Siberia V2 that started it all.

This mouse design was meant to be a wireless only, the wired ones are using the same parts + a bunch of other leftover parts from other products. Hence the detachable micro usb, as its using the shell of the wireless, and the questionable differences from mouse one to another is because they are using leftover parts.

Like what? Flagship $140 wireless mouse that pretty "late to the party", has only paw 3335 sensor which usually seen on mid-budget and weight that much without BT support? At least they can have proper flagship wireless sensor (3370) to justify the price.. but they choose not to
@karlisiskrovs2046
@karlisiskrovs2046 3 жыл бұрын
@@KartikoKurnianto why Bluetooth doe? Dongle > Bluetooth all day, every day. Especially if have the dongle extender which also can be used to charge the mouse, so it always takes only 1 USB port. Logitech hero sensors, by your statement, also are sub-par, considering the price of gpx or gpw, and they also don’t have no Bluetooth. And I’d like to actually see someone be able to tell the differences between mouse sensors during everyday use.
@karlisiskrovs2046
@karlisiskrovs2046 3 жыл бұрын
@@KartikoKurnianto Also, I actually think that not making a generic superlight symmetrical mouse, that would just get lost amongst all the other options already out there is a good decision. Maybe because I allways tend to look for a heavier mouse that feels good in the hand, since that has proven to work for me the best in over 20 years of pc gaming :) The mice that go below 70g in the size I prefer feel fragile, empty and cheap :( Also clicks>sensor for me, since you can allways get used to a sensor, but if the clicks are garbage, it allways will feel bad.
@KartikoKurnianto
@KartikoKurnianto 3 жыл бұрын
@@karlisiskrovs2046 with that kind of weight, most wireless mouse nowdays also accommodate Bluetooth connection (ALONGSIDE 2.4 ghz dongle).. what I want to say is.. why a 80 gram, $140 dolars price tag mouse can't accommodate support for bluetooth alongside the 2.4 ghz dongle connection... what I mean is it to have bluetooth support to use with ur secondary device (maybe portables like notebook for productivity, not for gaming) without needing to unplug-plug the dongle everytime u change device. U can leave the 2.4 ghz dongle on your main PC. I didn't say replacing dongle with bluetooth for gaming man cus ofc dongle is far more superior in latency Also I don't want to look like a logitech fanboy here but, u know the difference...? GPW.. yes it's 80ish grams & no BT support but it's 3 years old mouse (that's why I type "nowdays" on comment above) yet still packs better, flagship level sensor (I will explain next)... while GPX.. weights only 60 grams.. it's understandable that it doesn't have BT support.... while this prime wireless, it's brand new product.. cost almost $140... weight 80 grams.. yet still doesn't has bluetooth support... I mean even razer orochi v2 can accomodate bluetooth support And hero sensor, altho having the same speed (ips), accel (g), and default max cpi (16k) is completely different sensor to 3335.... there's a lot of things besides that parameters, for example... power consumption, framerate adjustment, smoothing, also high lod, high DPI deviation, and risks of getting throttled (which is often found on paw 3335)... you can even see they are a completely different sensor by looking by it's physical shape (if u want, I can send u pict to show you how different they are) I know GPX/GPW shape is too generic/plain/safe... it can accomodate a lot of hand size, shape, and grip style... but because the same reason, it's often not going to be an endgame mouse for some people. that's why I said the basic prime is fine (check my comment on the main youtube comment of this vid) cus it brings unique shape to the market (and it's ergo shape to boot, I mean there isn't many high end ergo alternatives nowdays, so more ergo options always welcomed)... I don't blame prime wireless being $140 and still weight 80 grams (the lightweight wireless already have a lot of options), like DA v2 pro is good mouse if u like the shape and weight.... but what set it apart from prime wireless is, it has proper top of the line flagship sensor which is far better (pmw 3399) compared to 3335 and got BT support to justify its price (well, it's even $10 cheaper)... what bother me is, why prime wireless even with that kind of weight & price, still can't accommodate BT and uses mid-budget sensor... let me give other example.. KPA, got 5 grams lower weight compared to prime wireless but still can accomodate BT support, use proper flagship paw 3370 sensor and still cost $10 less.... U can modify sound and feel of the click by installing different switch and tempering with the button plate (and it's not infrequent that the result will be pretty good).... but can u ever change the sensor? go figure ;)... I don't say button feel isn't important, but is sensor really less important than that..? U basically say people can't tell the difference between sensor on everyday use... maybe it's true... but I think most people buy a $140 gaming mouse expected to use it to game in which a lot of people can certainly feel the difference (the obvious one for example, lod issue in many implementation of 3335), not just everyday use... if u want mouse for everyday use, go get an office mouse... also if u can always get used to a sensor, I think you are fine with cheap mouse that has bad sensor (but still has good build quality, clicks, and shape), and there's no need for company to develop better and better sensor :)... Or you actually isn't an FPS/aiming game player so you don't really need good sensor.. If so, why in previous comment did u bother with dongle>BT where latency is the main issue? Isn't latency also works hand in hand with sensor to deliver smooth and accurate movements of the mouse cursor..? Also about clicks, don't forget this mouse use proprietary switch, if it (unfortunately) fail, that's the end of it cus u can't replace the switch ;) What I want to say is.... with whopping $140 u deserve a better sensor.... MOW for example which cos only $80 use BAMF sensor (which is derivate of 3370)... and about paw 3335, you can even find paw 3335 on sub $40 mouse.... but let's see what reviewers gonna say about this mouse

It's good to see new shape especially ergo introduced to the market... imo the basic one is fine (tho 5-10 bucks lower price tag maybe more ideal imo to align it with similarly specced mice ), the + packs some gimmicks, whether it worth 90 buck is up to the consumer... but the wireless, a mice that imo come "late to the party", on the heavy side by todays standard (and still doesn't have bluetooth), and only equipped with paw 3335 (instead of 3370 which more suitable for flagship product), I think $140 is a bit too much... the shape i think is pretty good, but still doesn't justify the price

My favorite Steelseries product that I own is the Artis 3 headset, good comfort and microphone and a "sharing 3.5mm" audio port that let you share the audio with another headset (or even to a speaker)

I don't know what it is about your videos, but I often find myself smiling, they just feel so genuine, I really enjoy them. Also I'm looking for a new mouse, there's 3 that I'm looking at rn bit I'm open to other suggestions, which one would you prefer 1) G Pro X Superlight 2) Razer Viper Ultimate 3) Prime Wireless Would you recommend the white mouse you showed earlier in the video (The Kone if I remember right) over any of these?

I've been using everything Steelseries since 2014, but Aerox 3 Wireless is currently my fav product, since it's the end all be all, the final form of my fav shape of all time, the Rival 100. But then again I'd love to see a "Aerox Prime" or something, like an A3W without holes.

My favorite was back when steelseries was one of the pc gaming kings and really enjoyed their Diablo 3 headset, had a nice red glow with the design and was just a nostalgia era.

Tempted to pick this up to see how it compares to my G703. Already have the SteelSeries software downloaded for my Arctis 7, so that's the default favorite.

I might even buy one of these Prime mice just for the side buttons. That's the only thing I don't like about the Rival 3 wireless, it has really small and skinny side buttons.

Looks like a great mouse, and I also agree about that screen thing. They should have just make it 2 versions only. But I guess it doesnt hurt to have more options. btw Techne, have you tried coolermaster mm720? im curious about your opinion on that mouse.
