Please Gibson don't ruin Steinberger ...again... These if same as older generations are really great for the money and very versatile no matter if travel, backup or main git especially considering pricepoint. Be nice to see some more flagship designs come back as well though as this won't be enough to gain momentum or market share but the fact many others such as strandberg, kiesel even abasi are losing their heads and have good reception may prove to be a good time to show Ned Steinberger has been innovating for decades and many features are valid usable upgrades . Headless, zero fret. floating trems that lock and even transpose . trasposing capos and piezo blending active electronics etc etc.

Why does the steinberger website totally suck so bad???? It shows they only sell 2 right-handed guitars, neither of which is customizable such as with EMG pickups, etc. Just two models and that's it? Or is the website just beyond dumb?

I just bought the all black model about 2 weeks ago, falling in love with it....... UNTIL I saw the wine red "Quilt Top" model ! I need to find out where to get the "Quilt Top" model NOW .... so I can return the all black one ! Can anyone help me ?????

i can't be satisfied with these models : add a solid body +good tremolo +EMG pickups in hsh or ssh and it will be great ! if not, not i have the old model : i had to change the pickups for SD pickups, the stock pickups were bad, not enough output neither sustain but a good enough tremolo
