The wife and i love the rob zombie films, house of 1000 corpses, the devils rejects, and 3 from hell. Fantastic acting, awesome story, big zombie fan and just love ottis baby and spaulding(R.I.P.) sid.

I totally understand where you're coming from in the sense that it isn't reality but its sort of escapism I have a great many film moments where people might say I'm a bit sick for liking but I don't care lol I can watch the ending of Day of the Dead 1985 with a pepperoni pizza and think nothing of it. There is a scene where a guy gets his vocal cords slowly ripped out and his voice gradually changes which is probably my favourite zombie kill in anything related to zombie apocalyse films - even the walking dead. I also like John Carpenter's The Thing, David Cronenberg's The Fly and I new film that's in Cinemas now The Substance I recently did a review on that if you want to check it out. I also want to say that I'm not usually this negative to a film I just thought this one was so popular and so many people loved it that I wanted to throw my hat into the ring - as it were I hope you're well my friend and stay tuned for more vids 👍

My opinion the family is lovable, not every movie has to have a good ending, nor does every bad guy need to meet their end, its just a movie not real life, some people enjoy just pure gore it can almost be therapeutic, similar to how i enjoy the feeling of getting tattoos i look at it as pain therapy. Also on a quick note the sherrif sucked and i was hoping for his downfall from the begining. And i doubt there is any reason its just unorganized chaos. Still love your review cause everyone sees things differently and i enjoy hearing others point of view!

Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed my review even though I wasn't particularly kind to this film but I thought everyone else loves this film I wanted to add a different point of view. Everyone on the internet loves and I got frustrated that so many people loved it when I thought it was a load of old expliotation drivel, with nothing really going on, at least the Sheriff had something I could latch onto with his wanting to get revenge on the people who killed his brother, its not profound or worthy of any further analysis but it was something that felt like wow this guy should be a good man but he is so comsumed by revenge, And I know people might get preachy when I say the words good man and say 'but revenge isn't the answer but in my opinion it is, if its in service of a good story and you may not like the sheriff and I didn't much care for him either but I just felt like: I have the Rob Zombie's mason-family or this crazy sheriff driven made by revenge...? I chose option two because he was given more time to develop there is one scene with the characters sharing ice cream and then there is the scene at the brothel with the family and I feel it wasn't enough I needed more...
