+Cycling Maven. After a few not so good experiences in the last 3 years with Cancer in my family, I have seen firsthand what doctors like Matt are up against and it's these doctors that are the true heroes. I would love to see more of Matt in your vlogs every now and again.

I think 18 years is a long time Mark... my Professor brother is a respiratory physician and did his PhD at Imperial College London I think it took him 12-14 years but he was somewhat remarkable. Come Sept 1st my "project" will be 20 years old but the idea started in 1992 (January 20 at 11pm on East 42nd street NYC)... Anything big and innovative takes time! I always say Cycling is a major contributor to my success... when there is no finish line I will win every time. Enjoy your vlogs keep up the good work

Mark just a tip from something I've noticed in a couple of vids. Maybe when you're doing interviews or speaking into the camera disable the autofocus for a second? It just goes crazy and focuses on the stuff behind you and then back to you and then back to the background etc. and its really distracting when trying to pay attention to what someone is saying. Maybe something to take into consideration. Great vlog though! Cant wait to see your low numbers so we can be on the same boat!

I've got a question for who over could help me. I live in Canada, so I have a long winter. Because of this, and because I am a student with a small budget, before upgrading parts on my bike I want to get an indoor setup going for zwift as this is my first winter having a road bike. I am trying to decide between getting a stages power meter and basic fluid trainer (maybe a used fluid2) which would benefit me all year round or getting a smart trainer. Any advice from anyone would be great. I am mostly biking to lose weight and get in shape but love to push myself.

dont get a trainer that has power built in, the best is to get a powermeter for the bike, and get a indoor trainer, that way you have a powermeter for summer riding too. use a cheap magnetic resistance indoor trainer until you upgrade to a nicer machine. check kijiji if your in canada for a trainer. cheers from montreal
