Don't forget that the taxpayers pay for public defenders--and they have already paid for the investigation and prosecution of Murdaugh. With small towns and poor counties like Hampton and Colleton County, they do not have that in their budget. As she said, Murdaugh has the money--it is in his father's trust. He deposited $600,000 in the trust just before his dad posed away. His family needs to cough it up! Even without what he deposited to the trust, his share of his dad's trust is over $4,000,000! His defense team rented a wedding venue with 5 houses, chef, housekeeping, conference center, etc., for $20,000 per week. The prosecutors had to pay for housing, food, support staff, too--and that means the taxpayers!

Like phone, text, emails she received around that time, as well as any meetings on her calendar schedule during that time with anyone associated with AM. When she got belligerent with the Highway Patrolman about her decision, who had she had contact with? AM or RM? She needs to be investigated for her comment that she’d make the report say anything someone wanted. That’s an ethics violation and she should be fired and charged with criminal conduct. And look at any other questionable determinations as well as ANY case involving the Murderous Murdaughs. How many times has she assisted AM in sweeping deaths under the rug for him?

My brother died via motor vechile vs pedestrian on a highway. He had multi system failure due to catastrophic damage to entire skeleton AND internal organs. The person was driving around 55mph. There was NO Viewing as a result of the damage and trauma his body sustained. Im telling you as a medical professional with over 10 years EMS experience there would be far more damage to Mr Smiths body then just head trauma. Think about the contact spots of a vechile and a humans body. Even when a deer or moose is struck there are multiple broken bones and vast damage to internal organs which would have and should have been documented during the autopsy!
