He had a song written for him when he was elected to win the Heisman. The song played on a Jackson, MS radio station. Can't remember the name of the station. He was a very kind and nice man while he was attending Alcorn State University. He autographed different magazines with his face on the cover for students before he became well known and joining the Tennessee Titans. I know, I was there, Seeing him play on the grounds of ASU, Wow. I seen him play, you know he deserved what he earned. At school one year, I think it was for his birthday, to show him love we all signed on a poster, very big poster. RIP Steve McNair.

I was living in Nashville when this happened! I used to walk past that condo all the time. I even walked past it when this incident happened. I remember seeing all the yellow tape and such. This situation just proves that, sometimes, we don’t always know the people that we associate ourselves with. Plus, it is never good to cheat in relationships. I used to be a server at Pappadeaux in Houston. McNair would come in and ask for one of the brothers that worked there (my brother and I both worked there). He would stay for hours and just talk to us about football as we were/are huge fans. That guy had soooo much class. Sad to see him go and so early. RIP Steve!

Steve used to stay at a hotel I worked at. He was always very nice, down to earth and respectful. Steve's brother, Fred, equally a great man. Ill just say Steve knew how to party and was a complete legend. I had to help the security guard carry Steve to his room because he was si swerved. This was after his football career so this isnt any negative towards Steve. Great man, great family, sad that he was taken from the Earth. RIP Steve

@@charlie1725 No, not anything could have happened when the desperate financially strapped girl who wanted McNair to herself told people she wanted to "end it all", bought a gun, had McNair come over, shot him point blank range after he fell asleep because he was drunk, then shot herself, gunpowder residue on HER hand only, bullets and gun matched the one she purchased. DOH! Case closed.
