Today we take a look at the Stevens Miserable Loader....Err... Visible Loader rifle. A unique take on a pump action repeating .22 from eras gone by. We got it cycling and cleaned up now will it fire.

I went through the visible loader saga myself. My grandfather was a gunsmith, but passed way before my time. One time snooping at my grandmothers. I come across this little rifle in need of tlc. I was probably 14 and knew it was above my head, but I laid claim. Fast forward to 2016 I decided it was time. Trigger was broke in half, firing pin broke, hammer lock had been crudely repaired, missing other parts. An order from numrich and popperts obsolete gun parts put me in the right direction. After a year of fooling with it occasionally, I got to hear it go bang. I continue to shoot the hell out of it fun little plinker

I have one, given to me by my grandfather in the 1960's. Mine works quite well, and I take it out once in a while to remember the enjoyment "gramps' and I had with it

I just got done relining the barrel on my Model 70 .. The job went quite well with the help of your barrel relining video which I watched copious amount of times. I haven't shot it yet but it functions fine. It has a new firing pin and a new inner magazine tube. So thank you very much for taking the time to offer the relining video. My rifle is from around 1920 as close as I can determine. I traded making and welding a handle for my neighbors portable air compressor. He paid $60 for it at a rummage sale. Thanks again. P.S. Look at how straight that cartridge goes into the chamber.

I was hoping that he was going to get into diss-assembly and re-assembly. I have one that needs to be tuned so the empties get ejected. I have an idea but don't want to mess with it until I know what to mess with.

I have a J Steven's Arms and tool co. one had a broken firing pen when I got it.i made a firing pen out of a bolt works fine shot CBs out of it most of the time.

I have one of probably the same vintage as yours. I've been working om it got the past month off and on. On mine same issue load and fire nothing, no burr in the bore. If I re cock it will fire on the second trigger pull so maybe, I'll change the firing pin n see what happens. would love to see the second part to this video btw. Thanks and have a good day.
