Because the scientist is very vulnerable to any damage. The serpent has a powerful and very fast attack that could have destroyed the scientist before he even got a chance to punch it.

True, not only that, what the Scientist did was more of a desperate move, his stick bot was almost destroyed and he had no other options left besides to surrender, which he didnt seem like the type to yield considering he always saw himself as the strongest, his ego wouldn't let him surrender pretty much. What he did was sort of a last resort and it almost paid off.

I slowed the video down at the very end of the episode, and noticed that the little brother fired his bullet just before The Scientist's fist met him. So my guess is that little brother survived the quick duo. However, there's still the possibility that The Scientist was able to build up enough momentum to deliver his lethal punch even after his brains were blown out. What I'm curious about though, is if Mr. Sheep's invention is still in one piece, or if The Scientist dismantled it?

I'm more interested in the fourth serpent, probably stronger than Overseer himself! That's kinda unfair tho. I mean, look at the Devil that lolph fought in the first episodes. He was an epic protagonist with backstory, and we saw how he built more power over the episodes. But there's some edgy snake boi who arrived out of thin air and is about to destroy their career. I mean, it's still cool, but damn it, he's probably even stronger that the first overseer! When I first saw lolph becoming overseer i was like "boi, he went through so much, he deserves it. Now nobody will ever bother him cuz he's so powerful" But boi here comes the first overseer, but okay, i can handle that. BUT BOI, here comes some random snake probably stronger than overseer himself. Doesn't it sound hilarious?
