Adrian Newey is too good❤ the tunnel content is cool, but add variety. Like do some topgear track lap too. Going down a straight line doesnt show the cars talents😢 It's just cheap and simple low budget content. All you need is, stig, car, robot eat head, a few go pros and 1 insta360 camera on the back. yeah this. But I'm also kind of disappointed with the tone itself. On paper the first impression is that this is gonna be the best sounding engine in the world, but in reality much less so? With a Ferrari V12 you would get this glorious clean tone even at lower revs.

Some tracks now have noise emission regulations. So manufacturers have to comply with these when producing a track car. Not everyone does it but apparently Aston does. Outrageous I know...

tracks have sound limits too most of them are really strict to not disturb people who live there if u enter on the Nordschleife and ur car is to loud, they will fish u out and u get banned for 1 day

Fantastic car, but why put the binaural "Mic" in the passenger's seat when a regular mic would do? The 3D effect of the binaural mic is pretty much wasted there. Do a drive-by with the binaural mic in the tunnel!

As a gentle reminder fellow viewers, she did mention at the start that track is not ideal for him flooring it as much as we would love for that to happen and just imagine if he did fully send it, one slight error and the whole set will have to shut down. Safety is first. At colder temperatures tyres tend to be less sticky….. true car fans know this 😅 Also, the war is worth a lot time, effort and money. They choose a tunnel because it’s the best kind of structure to accentuate loud engine noise. But they choose one that is visually awesome, but cold, wet and too small for safe running at full throttle. I don’t want necessarily want to see them bin it into the wall just we can hear some cool sounds. (Poor James of the REAL Top Gear almost killed himself doing that recently) So here, we have an 11,000 rpm V12 and “the STIG” was able to do what, half throttle at most? Did anyone see his max rpm? So anticlimactic and a waste of resources: a brilliant film crew with access to a pinnacle machine that most of us will never see or hear in person. The concept is great. At some point, you have to recognize the limitation and match you concept to workable conditions if you want to achieve the desired result. This is a perfect example of failure to do so. That’s what was so great about Clarkson. HE would have watched this and said “we’re not broadcasting that.” If you’re going to continue using the identity that HE built, please try to channel your inner ‘Jeremy’ and do things correctly.
