Even if you apply a 100% reverb and delay, it still won't affect the pitch or the tone of the vocal one bit. And anyway the reverb and delay is used moderately on most songs, check out ,Going Down, as an example, compared to say 'a Day in the Life' by the beatles, this has far more.

Heh. Do you mean the studio recordings? The studio recordings that use more Reverb and Delay than any other major artist that I know of, are triple-tracked, and layered with Reni's vocal to pull it in line? I know it feels like puching kittens to say it, but the simple fact of the matter is the boy can't hold a tune. He's consistently a semi-tone flat and loses the key all over the place at times. It's testament to their tunes that they carry him, but let's not kid ourselves. One Love.

I love the Stone Roses and Brownie, and his brilliant lyrics. But with the best will in the world, those who are saying he sounds great or "perfectly in tune" here need there ears examined. I wouldn't change the bloke for the world, but he's completely tuneless. Always has been.
