EACH TOTEM ON THE POLE IS A SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION OF ONE FAMILY.

I love hearing the name "Tlingit" pronounced - it just rolls off the tongue in an unexpected way. Once again the at.óowu evades me, lol. I'm still curious what an example of this would be! The pole dedication events sound incredibly hospitable and fun. What a thing to participate in a community gathering like that. I'd love to see the uncorrupted version of the owl - even the remaining remnant looks elaborate and amazing.
