Thanks, Stephen. Bit breezy up there by the looks of things and you nearly lost your hat 😂and Winter only started yesterday so there is probably a lot worse to come. I love German sausages (no wise cracks from anyone please 😂) but wouldn't want them with cheese in. See the seagulls were having fun in the wind in the ocean shots, sea looked nice as well.

The wind is like that here as well. Yes, it is quite common to dismantle the waltzers to a certain degree so the wind can blow through the uprights & lamp battens to stop any damage happening. You should try the KMG Freak out ( claw swing ). You'd love it 😂 😂

I think it's great that they try to keep things going through the 'off season; ... even when all events conspire against. I remember going to Blackpool a few times years ago after December and it was dead and depressing and quite eerie ...

We are back up in Lytham St Anne's for Xmas. It was a bit on the breezy side on the way up and it sounds like bins are being taken for a ride on the wind now outside . Hopefully it's calmer tomorrow and we can get out and about. Happy Christmas everyone.

I am sure we only used to give storms names when they were going to cause mass and serious devastaion - like hurricanes and cyclones ... now every epiode of strong winds seems to be classed as a 'hurricane' ...

What a holy waste of money with some of the structures there Stephen! The things that look like lamp posts but don't do anything, then that white structure with lights on, what the hell?? Councils should be held to account on their spending, the thousands that were possibly spent on these lining some artists pockets could well have been spent on something worthwhile. Absolutely diabolical. 🤬

We had one also at a Christmas market in Skipton there we paid £7. I had one yesterday at a Christmas market here in Berlin. Here I paid 4 euro. About £5 ? I have been back in Berlin 3 weeks tomorrow and since I left England you have had 3 storms. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with good weather. Take care. Mildred. xxx
