The Story: adidas Top Ten Hi

I was 16 years old when they came out and some basket ball players who did a demonstration at my high schoold wore them. Since then I was in love and begged my mum to get those shoes to buy it as they were not cheap back than. After 1 month of annying my mum she finally bought it for me and I wore them every day for 2 years after I had them stitched up and repared to be good for another 1.5 years. They were so good and cool that after 4 four years I bought another exactly the same pairs. This is truly a legend shoe. Awesome memories I have with them way back in these 70s and 80s. Now I spotted them again while I am 56 but next week for sure I am buying another pair again :-)

The original adidas Top 10 had a picture of one of the top 10 players on the tounge where the Top Ten logo is. I know because i had a pair in 1980. Mine had Kareem Abdul Jabbar on the tounge.

I got the black ones with white stripes i skated them so theyre all scuffed up but still wear them cause theyre just so cool and look so good especially all beat up
