Imagine getting in at 10 cents a piece and it runs up to 1 dollar, 10x gain, then 2 weeks later, it crashes to 25 cents and keeps going down. 99.9999% of people are gonna sell at that point. With how many outrageous gains and losses it's had, no investor has the mental strength (if you call it that) on an extremely speculative investment to hold on when they see it lose 70% of value over a few weeks.

That is painful. Back in May of 2010 when he sold it for pizza, Bitcoin was .008 ( An eighth of a penny). One year later around April of 2011 the price of Bitcoin mooned to $130.00 then it fell down to $12.00. Had he had the patience to wait another year he would of had 1.3 million dollars in 2011. $130.00 x 10,000 Bitcoins = $1,300,000.
