I wonder how did the first version of Riff sounded, with the more complex melody.. And thanks for asking my question about Sam Sharp returning on 14:08, I guess I'll stick listening to the old works.. 14:59 - Sigur Rós is great choice and I understand him about the people just standing. This month I'm going to visit one of my all-time favourite musical projects Carbon Based Lifeforms, and preparing myself for a similar experience! Great interview, as always. Keep it up :)

I used to drive the GM cars and trucks from New Jersey to NYC for the New York international auto show... I remember driving an orange Hummer H2 pickup with this song I burned onto a cd in the Lincoln tunnel year 2008. got fucking goosebumps hearing it in the background!!!

Naaah, melody is different, sounds are different, maybe influenced by "Riff" but to me it doesn't sound like a remix tbh

" Very slow 125 all the way up to 138.... " that feels very odd as i played sets that went from 110 bpm Doomcore all the way up to + 500 bpm Speedcore in one set. 😎 A big difference in perspective across genres

"Riff" was supported by almost every big trance and house DJ back then, even techno DJs did play the track in their sets, it was a huge track for Sander and for Doorn Records, so definitely a classic!
