Roger is such a gentleman. I've met him several times at his place in Brooklyn and Long Island City. Always pleasant and takes the time to talk to his customers. I have 4 & 5 string J and Modern basses, hard to pick a favorite, they are all excellent axes.

Nice, i own a few Fender Jazz's & Jaguar PJ's.. this i would happily give a home ...i luv the red or blue paint job, with the pre-amp you could use it for most genres of music...the beauty of Jazz's... sounds strong & punchy...

Are the sadowsky soapbars wired in series or parallel?

Lars.why do feel that this bass is more so great for Rock as opposed to smooth jazz or R n B?

It can basically handle all styles. My Sadowsky Metroline Vintage JJ sounds a lot more traditional, but both models are sensational ... at the end of the day it's really just a matter of taste! Atb, Lars
