I have been very impressed with the story & boss encounters as well as the way you unlock the other path for the MC is incredible. Song is so amazing too! It truly rivals some triple AAA full priced RPG games. My first time playing a game by Mihoyo, but have been incredibly impressed. Love that you also playing with JP voices. When I found out the Female MC was voiced by Yui Ishikawa (aka 2B VA) was so happy. Loved your reactions to this! Thanks for sharing!

Ever since doing this quest on this past weekend, i’m just hunting for fresh reactions on youtube (there are a lot of cbt players around, and you can see hoyo polished this battle a lot since then). Amongst all of them, yours was the best reaction. If this is what HSR promises, i’m just so excited for the future. Being both a Honkai3rd and GI player, just seeing Hoyo being focused once again (HI3rd style) just make me love this game even more. AND THE MUSIC

I had the same reactions, it was good to re-watch this epic fight and scene with someone who had the same wow factor :D If this game would be single player I'd surely reload a save before the boss just to fight it again. I only had this feeling in Dark Souls 3 with Lothric and Persona 5, Maruki fight.

you mentioning that mihoyo was inspired by legend of heroes finally dawned on my why this game clicked with me so fast. i love turn based games and i do play mihoyo's other games (hi3 and genshin) so i knew i'd like this one. but i didn't think i'd be as attached as i am, you just pretty much slotted the final piece for me lol. the trails series is my fave jrpg of all time, and i can definitely see how that game influenced star rail's development so much. i've fallen in love with this game even more lol and i can't wait for more of the story!

I had to drop Genshin after 2 years of playing, the story was decent but the extra padding on the dialogue (taking 30 minutes just to explain I need to go to point A and point B was irritating and boring) and Paimon made it almost unbearable. Honkai team is different then Genshin team, honkai impact 3rd has been going for 6 years wayyy before Genshin was even out and a lot of people praise the story in that game. Take a look at some of the story cinematic trailers for honkai impact 3rd they’re crazy good.

@@MrLindenluke genshin is honestly boring. it was kinda fun at first but after like 4 months of playing i just got bored and had to drop it. in terms of how gacha game goes, there aren’t really that much great games especially in terms of story. if you want great story then Fate Grand/Order is for you(especially the lostbelts). Gameplay wise, Punishing Gray Raven(still has a great story imo). if you want a mix of both then honkai impact 3rd(the story goes from a 4/10 to a 8/10 after chapter 8 and just gets better and better). these 3 gacha games are great nonetheless so if you’re looking for more gacha games to play then i highly recommend checking them out

I dropped honkai impact very early on when it first released because it was pretty rough but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it years after release so I’m very excited to see where this game goes because I’m loving it so far!

yup honkai was pretty rough back on early release , it was probably the first hack and slash mobile game with actual good story and graphic back in 2017, atleast as far as i know it become explonentially good in 2019 after they release animated CG + actual music for chapter 9 , and keep releasing banger after banger for every chapter im also loving star rail so far, hope they keep it up with the story and animation production

Yo. I'm also played Honkai: Star Rail which make me interested and that was insane when I'm played. I'm also liked the comment part about influence of Kiseki Series but the battle system may need an improvement since it's not too far from in Kiseki Series for using Items during battle. By the way, I won the battle without Character with Abundance Path.

We have to understand that Genshjn is the reason they make HSR great. Tbey learn how to make the story pacing to be bearable, they make QOL like the dailies.Have End game contents and more. Genshin gets better in the Sumeru region and its open world game at its core with great combat. Though not a perfect game but both games complement each other.

No Honkai impact 3rd is what makes honkai star rail great. Honkai impact 3rd has always had a better story and better story telling than Genshin because Genshin focuses more on the open world aspect
