Wow amazing happy and sad together please interview more holocaust survivors the younger generation need to hear them speak especially with Corona my teenager came in as I was listening I had tears in my eyes telling her this man at 13 what he went through I told her how lucky she is yes she is home can't see friends etc but she has comfort food no nazi running after her keep the programs coming thanks again

Hey it's nice to see you both back at it, kol hakvoad! Yakove, my grandfather was an alter mirrer who escaped with the mir to Shanghai during the war. I think I remember once asking him the same question you asked Mr Beller, and he never really answered like he did because he wasn't one to share his emotions, but if I recall correctly he did say that without hashem he would be nothing. Meaning even with his questions, like mr beller, who should live and be well, with hashem there is still a beacon of light......another great episode!

Wow very interesting !! Just curious, when he's saying that the sky was red before the war. What was it?

He's referring to the sky having a strange color prior to the war. Not exactly sure what that means but he's suggesting it's a bad omen for what followed shortly after.
