This video explains Kate Chopin's short story The Story Of An Hour.The main protagonist is Mrs.Mallard .She learns of the death of her husband in a rail-road disaster.She is sad on hearing the news.However the realisation that she is now free to lead her life on her own terms makes her happy.Then the anti climax..her husband returns home and seeing him she dies of a heart attack.

TEMPEST IS SIMPLER?? I beg to differ on this one , it is killing me ; I liked MOV better , at least it was a bit interesting , Tempest is too serious , well Shakespeare did develop his skills a lot in that wide gap between MOV and Tempest!

Haven't seen the explanation yet , and the story is really confusing to interpret after just reading it , but what I think the answer to question possibly is that yes, she was sad that her husband had died , but she was also happy as she will be a free bird now ... therefore , both positivity and negativity.
