This is a tribute to a great chess player, one of the finest in the world of chess - Anish Giri. It was intended to be released on his 27th birthday on 28th of June 2021, but we are late by a few days!

Anish Giri is a multi talented man. Being best at whatever he does be it chess, geoguessr, roasting people, clickbait thumbnails, comedy and being a family guy. He literally changed my perspective towards chess players and showed me how one can be successful by just maintaining a proper balance in life. I think the quotes "Do more of what makes you happy"(his fav quote) and "If it is worth doing, it's worth doing well" aptly describe him❤

I am just a beginner and I just got into chess recently - I have to say that Anish is by far one of my favourites. Sure, we have our World Champion Carlsen and we have others who play brilliantly as well, but I have always been in awe of Anish because he makes chess so much fun! I thought it would be daunting and a little intimidating - but his streams have made my lockdown AND my chess better! An amazing chess player, a great father and a wonderful husband (omg I love Sopiko!!!) - what else do we need? ✨

Great video! Anish or his father (I also visit and work with people where his father works, a place called DELTARES) never knew us but my son was one or two years behind for a year in his Delft high school (we were there just for an year away from Canada) so I always tracked his progress and was proud of his achievements!
