Chuck Norris Nobbel is a great narrator and storyteller, and also a great critic of the parts of the lore that are not really good, like this one for instance. Yes, he should be hired as a writer and reviewer, that would only make the future lore better.

this really puts Kil' Jaedans power into perspective, he was stuck halfway through the sunwell then the sunwell turns against him and he still tries to push back. Fighting him without a handicap might be near imposiible

The Sunwell Trilogy manga wasn't the greatest Warcraft tie-in, but I love how characters created for it were introduced into the main story during WoW, with Anveena playing a big part in the Sunwell Plateau raid and Kalecgos becoming an integral part of the lore, even becoming the new Blue Aspect. That's the best part of Blizzard, they use all these different mediums to create and populate this world of Azeroth, and we love it, as Nobbel shows in his videos.

It was considered that Dar'Khan Drathir is a lich (or something close to a lich) this would suggest that physical injuries wouldn't do much to him and as long as his soul is grounded to the physical world - he can come back at will.

Indeed. Dar'Khan has already come back from death a few times. There was his death in the manga, then he came back in Blood of the Highborne, and then in the game. I doubt he's gone for good even now if his phylactery is still out there.

I got few things for you: 1. You got any hints why there is a hidden HUGE dungeon area under Karazan castle? There can be found HUGE under water area, Black hole and under it is a huge pile of bones. 2. What for there are areas without meaning in Azaroth (they existed in vanilla/tbc and wotlk), for example: -Tauren Village at corner of Kalindor (south west) -Dwarf Village at middle of Easter kindoms (middle east, east corner of arathi highlands) -Goblin Village at islands out side of the Azaroth (south of Kalindor at sea) -Gnomish village at somewhere under the sea at Kalindor (can remember where it was) 3."Cave of Silithus" at Loch Modan (not sure if it can be found in MoP) 4. Clickable chest in the mysterious sea of Nessy? PS. I havent played WoW after Cata, but i am interested of some mysterious things in WoW. Specially of the gigantic area under Karazan Castle, Huge empty areas with really creepy looking.

My two cents on the gap between Sunwell Trilogy and the events of the Sunwell Plateau raid? Anveena chose to stay with the elves, correct? And the only ones who knew the truth were Kalec (and Madrygosa? Or was it Tyragosa? Whoever it was in the comics), Lor'themar and his elves, and Sylvanas. Either Lor'themar, one of his subordinates, or Sylvanas probably let slip to Kael'thas before he came back and sacked his own city to snag M'uru away to the Sunwell. He probably spirited Anveena away as well in the process, and it most likely took place really soon after Tempest Keep considering the quest related to his "Verdant Orb" item you loot and turn in. And Kael'thas, let's face it, is a raid boss for a reason... even if laughable by today's top levels. Dar'khan might've had some weight with his punches, but he is no Kael'thas Sunstrider. T'was Kael's ancestor, Dath'remar, that birthed the Sunwell. T'was his family that maintained it up until the tragedy that befell Quel'thalas. And t'was Kael, himself, who blew it up. Consider how much power is needed to do THAT. Anveena never stood a chance. Bet you if he was present during Sunwell Plateau instead of being slain once and for all in Magister's Terrance, things might've gone down differently.

If i may be honest, I think the side characters of the Sunwell trilogy were FAR more engaging then the main characters. Mordis and Trag's story was proper dramatic ( Hence I liked his contuination in the Wacraft: Legends series), Loggi and his Dragon Hunters reminded me of tje One Piece pirate crew and even Jorad Mace had an interesting character arc.

why is it rezing the dead in wow is always inconsistant? Like the whole sunwell is needed to rez kelthuzad, but nefarion can rez onyxia with just his electricity, yet the lich king with his own ability can rez sindragosa, and also even some force that i don't think is the lich king can rez the other blue dragon in the sunwell and turn her into felmyst.

Arthas didn't have the power to turn the ghost of Kel'Thuzad into a Lich. Nefarion is the son of Deathwing so I imagine he is fairly powerful in the WoW Universe. The Lich King is also a very powerful character in WoW. Rezzing people requires immense powers. Plus on top of it the WoW Lore can be spotty at best in certain aspects like this.

As far as how Dar'khan survived being blown up by the powers of the Sunwell...he is undead when he shows up in the quest in the Blood Elf starting zone in BC. So I just assumed the Lich King resurrected him.

There's a theory is that Dar'Khan is a lich. And as we know, a lich can only be killed permanently if its soul is destroyed. Then again, his death in-game is the reason why blood elves eventually got accepted into the Horde, so it's probably just good ol' MacGuffin. That being said, where's Raac? In Night of the Dragon he is merely mentioned, so where could the little bastard be?

Sure they dont have to worry about their mana addiction but do they now start to try and rebuild their culture and finally cleanse undeath from their lands. And how will that influece the relation between the undead elves and the newly light empowered blood elves.

Nice video rlly nice and i really like the high elves my favorite race in wow.And sylvanas was my favorite character.I still remember her last words before she turned into the banshee queen."Then i will make my stand here butcher Anar`alah belore".Also some of the lore facts say that Thori Dal the stars fury was actually the bow of sylvanas.But anveena saved entire azeroth that day when she sacrifieced herself to push Kiljaeden back where he came from.I am also interested is there any lore how Vereesa saw Sylvanas as a banshee queen what did she told her?Also kael turned into an abomination when he got corrupted such fel magic and Ilidan all the time had the second well of eternity.If kael knew about that he would probably use it as a new power source and none of that in the sunwell plateu would happen.But anveena saved the blood elven race .But now that sunwell is a fount of holy energy again.Does that mean that it can purify the blood elves from fel magic?Does that mean that they will be like high elves again?Pls answer me

I still wonder if Anveena is actually gone, with the events that happened I still have the suspicion that Anveena might still be a consciousness in the Sunwell, she might even be fused with M'uru. I assume if Azeroth does indeed eventually take on an avatar form that she might take someone as powerfull like Anveena as her handmaiden.

These are great videos, I've only heard about Anveena/sunwell, I've learned tots of things But I have a question: If the part of the sunwel (Anveena) was so powerfull to summon Kil'jeanden, maybe it explains how Kel'thusad summoned Archimonde with maybe a part of the power of the sunwell within him? (well he had also Medihv's book but was it enough?) for Keal'thas, well Kael'thas is much more powerfull that Dar'khan and maybe enough powerfull to control anveena, he's was one of Illidans lieutenants
