Altair was my favorite assassin. He was a great introduction for the game series to establish what the order was truly about. But Ezio had the best story overall, yet Altair became a big part of it

The reason why Ezio is the most memorable assassin is because we as the player followed him all the way from beginning to end. Throughout 3 whole games, we experienced his youthful years, his immature moments, his painful experiences, and his eventual growth. We were able to experience a young and brash boy evolve into a mature and wise man. Despite his tearful passing, it was also peaceful, because Ezio's story was complete. He loved, lost, suffered, but also lived a full life. When Ezio's died, i cried but also smiled, because I experienced his life from beginning to end, and felt at peace that he was able to pass while gazing at his beloved family one last time, within the city where he was born. His legacy and teachings will never die, and he finally earned his rest. Requiescat in pace, fratello mio.

i understand you completely, my biggest issue was forgetting names of characters, so whenever one of the character was mentioned in dialogue but not shown, i lost track of story, This playlist by patientwolf has helped me a ton with keeping up with the story. And yes, i also play like 1-2 times a week for 3-4 hrs each time on weekends, maybe i'd have not forgotten much if i did the story in one go continuously.

Now that I learn more about Revelations (never had a chance to play it), it's sad that Ubi never bring back that level of "proto-globalization", sure, it wouldn't make sense that Connor, Ivor, even less Bayek, have access to Assassin's technology from far countries, but I would really like it more, if other Assassins groups are mentioned again, sharing invention, giving a more global feeling to the Assassins organization, by smuggling unlike Templar doing transatlantic trading.
