4:36 - I believe it's also stated a few times that one of the biggest reasons the Grineer can only make these faulty clones is they're missing important DNA sequences that were lost with the fall of the Orokin. They only have a fraction of the Orokin's understanding of how to do it so they can only make these lesser clones. Tyl Regor exists almost entirely to express in the story that the Grineer are aware of this lack of knowledge and are actively trying to discover the missing links themselves.

Yeah of course! That's why I talked about the Orokin purposely creating them imperfect at 4:31! Then I went on the list lesser reasons that they are even less effective than the original clones the Orokin would create. Grineer are cloning grineer, and never had access to the knowledge the orokin had that would create clones with good health, since they've never actually had an examples of said clones. I def could of gave more context to that so I appreciate this comment and it's 100% accurate.

If you've read Vorunas backstory, it is also clear as to why people bow to the Queens. Kuva temporarily solves their problem and brings untold power to the grineer. Until the Grineer find that missing link, they will be slaves to their queens to the Kuva and by the unknown within the void.

I'd say Tyl Regor can be considered equally "nice" to Vor. Just like Vor he's utterly comitted to fixing the problem of Clone rot, he's just smart enough to not disobey the queens directly.

I could agree with that for sure, he's just def less independent like you said. Vor seems to even show discontent when it comes to the queens, I think he may actively dislike them, but didn't mention it because I don't have a ton of evidence to prove that

For sure, there's like 5 total fights with him, the void, duviri, earth, ceres and venus, and only like two of them make sense lmao, however, he's super recognizable as the first boss, so it makes sense that he keeps getting brought back. Almost like Frieza in DB

That could absolutely be the case, and is a really good theory, but that also raises some questions, like why would he be allowed to have so much individuality in the void, and why does he still harbor hate for the tenno when I would imagine the void is kind of just neutral in its chaos.

I've always liked Vor as a villain. He's a hard-working self-determined guy who continues on despite all of his setbacks and flaws. Although he does become quite the kook after being saved by the void, but I suppose many people might do that after an obvious encounter with the supernatural.

Devs made a mistake calling him an admiral. An admiral is the same as a general but for naval forces. If he's Grineer army he'd be a general, he'd be an admiral if he was in the navy. I suspect that the devs just didn't think to make the distinction

Maybe it would be good to say that some of the videos you showed are from the old intro and game beginning. Now, game starts a bit differently, and tho it looks much much better, Vor kind of... became less important (I am not saying I do not agree with you) just that newer players might want to know that some of the lore come from older versions of the game (and they can see it only on YT), and since DE never said that those parts of the game are invalid, I say its good you remembered and made video

I thought about putting a disclaimer talking about some of the things I mentioned but thought it would take away from the video so I didn't, but this comment is absolutely true, they've reworked the character of Vor so much, from different cutscenes, voice actors, intros, and even abilities when it comes to fighting him. He originally didn't even have a voice actor, and the first one he did get, it was only in the grineer language. As I'm sure you noticed, I used three different intros and a trailer to show his first interaction with your player character. Some he entered the void with the janus key, but in the current one he just walks into ruins. My goal here was to show the best bits of lore when it came to his newer developments and older developments, as almost like a best hits thing. The video was originally going to be titled "the most iconic villain in Warframe" which would better fit that theme in a way. I'm honestly not 100% sure what's cannon or not when it comes to Vor, because like you said, when DE reworks things they don't really explain what's accurate or not, which also allows me to make a video like this with a decent bit of interpretation based on everything we do have. A lot of people who watched this haven't seen most of the cutscenes I used, and I think that's insane but at the same time pretty cool and a representation on how confusing certain bits of lore can get when it comes to Warframe.

Am I stupid for never noticing that he had the Orokin key? I pay attention to the text and transmissions more than the actual mini cutscenes in the levels. They say he has Orokin tech in his cybernetics, and his Seer gun is partially comprised of orokin materials, I guess I just took that all at face value and never pieced together the giant glowy thing on his chest or the fact that he inexplicably has gold shields and beams and can teleport

Admiral is an equivalent rank to general. The main difference is that admirals manage boats while generals manage ground or air forces.

DQ is my go to game OST for videos! Most of my videos have some sort of DQ track in them, another big one that I use is banjo kazooie, but I didn't use any banjo tracks in this video since it really didn't fit the theme.

It was from a trailer announcing his comeback as corrupted Vor. It's a super early cutscene, probably about 8-9 years old at this point, the link to it should be in the description, and it'll be the video titled rebirth. There aren't any cutscenes in game regarding captain Vor

@@kookthekid8338 DE need to add a cutscene gallery and flavortext explaining warframe lore that unlocks as the game progresses inside the Codex When I joined warframe I genuinely had no idea wtf was going on aside from very small bits and pieces gleamed from dialogue now I have some idea of what is going on but I am MR 27 and have been with the game for years I still don't know the early years that well though Also no spoiler mode(streamer mode) should be turned on by default for new accounts
