Claudio Zampolli reminds me so much of my late GrandFather Salvatore. Claudio is a legend in the Italian Supercar industry. I know he lives in Los Angeles, and so do I. I hope one day I get to meet him. My goal is to one day own a CIZETA V16T.

Hey JT - Kevallino from EC here; found this randomly and really enjoyed it. I had the good fortune to have lunch with Claudio and chat with him on multiple occasions in the mid-2000s when he would bring the red Cizeta out here in SoCal. Love the story!! Hey John, I live in Phoenix area and got to see the Cizeta V16 this week for the Sotheby’s auction. Oh man so cool to see car history in front of me. Took a lot of pics and had them open the engine bay for some pics. What a car! If I had the money I would buy it on the spot!! A once in a lifetime event!

I remember when the Cizeta was new. It was on the cover of Sports cars international I believe. It was love at first sight. I read everything I could find on it. I'm shocked and excited to see that Mr Claudio is still alive. I wish Cizeta had survived for a lot longer than it did. He is one of my heroes. Him and Gorgetto Giugiaro and Marcello Ghandini.
