3:15 "Success takes you where character cannot sustain you"... I had to think about this for quite some moments. Dave Chapelle is no one special. He is a everyman, like everyone of us is. However... he is one of few people... that do not sell their dignity over money. That's why he walked away from a 50 million deal. He created a show, that was taken from him by smart businessman in suits... that could never conceptualize or perform... a show like the one he created. It was a very brave thing of him to just walk away. To just walk away. Allot people get famous, and then buy allot stuff that they then have to "slave away" for the upkeep price. It takes quite allot "character"... to just walk away. Maybe even more to openly say what he had to say. What a person. I would love to meet him in person, knowing that I am a nobody and not deserve that, though.
