Well, if he had been there, Ysera wouldn't. If i understood what happened correctly, Ysera was bound to Ardenweald, and the only way for her to leave was for someone to take her place. And strategically, i think that Ysera was more valuable than guy who slept through like 80% of his adult life.

It’s really nice to see all of Azeroth come together to defeat the big bad. Horde, Alliance, Dragonflights & the Wild Gods all fighting for the future of their world. Maybe it’s from my Warcraft 3 days but the story of Warcraft was never about Alliance versus Horde but about finding and fighting for the idea of home. It’s sad that the Horde and Alliance are basically guaranteed to go back to war after this…. 😢

Ever since BFA, it seems like the story has been a bunch of Marvel Cinematic Universe references with Zovaal being WOW's version of Thanos - because they realized they already dealt with their ACTUAL big-bad, Sargeras in Legion, - and this Avenger's assemble moment will hopefully be the last time they do another MCU reference/ripoff. ...who am I kidding? It's not over.

Alright they got the tone right this time. The Alex save was lame and cliche but cliche was the name of the game in this part and it did work. The callbacks and the revisition of the characters were nice. I wonder how they're gonna explain the big coalition missing when it'll come to the big boy fighting.

Correction: Shandris is Tyrande's adopted daughter, not her biological daughter. She adopted her when her parents were killed during the War of the Ancients.

I thought about describing it as adopted daughter, but she's been their daughter for over 10.000 years now. We don't describe someone as 'their biological daughter' we say this is their daughter so why would it matter if its adopted or bio? If it would play a rol for the story I'd guess so but for all intends and purposes, she is their daughter.

@@Nobbel87 Yeah that's true...I only pointed it out because you said she is the daughter of Tyrande and Malfurion, which made it sound like she was their biological daughter when she was in fact adopted. While Tyrande is definitely a mother to her just as she would be if she were her own child, I've never seen Malfurion even mention her (at least not in any game or book), so he doesn't seem to be a father to her.

Huh, there are a lot more individual Leaders amongst the Alliance than there are from the Horde. At least, there are in this battle lmao

Baine, Thrall, Mayla, Rokhan, Lor'themar, Rexxar, and Lilian Voss all answered the call - that's most of the leaders. Gallywix ran after BFA and hasn't been seen since, and the Goblins generally wouldn't care. It's more odd the Gnomes and Dwarves do care, but they are helping Tyrande. The Nightborne probably should have shown up, but they aren't exactly on good terms with Tyrande. The Mag'har and Zandalari aren't going to care, and probably would have made things worse if they did show up. The Void Elves don't care either, and Alleria is going to have a bigger role in the War Within. This incident is also a bit beyond the Vulpera. That's pretty much all the playable races with Chen representing the Pandaren.
