Not sure what you mean by legit but it really did happen. They programmed the blood to despawn when you and your pets left the instance but they left a loophole that the program didn't check despawned pets. So the corrupted blood got out and the rest is historyl

I was already interested in the Lore by that time which is why i'm here. Anyway, a legit plague going on in an MMORPG sounds like a nightmare of headache and raging to endure so, now, i'm wondering if Blizzard ever had to go through a serious backlash from doing that?

Xavier St-Pierre-Trahan Well this was in 2005 so there were not a lot people on social media and researchers got a lot out of it of course there were a few people who were angry about but then they could just stop playing or go elsewhere since it is easier to cleanse 5-40 players rather than 500. It was a major problem in the big cities but really a problem in the rest of Azeroth.

I was playing back during the WoW plague, and I basically just stuck to things like farming leather and herbs in the middle of nowhere on my toons and generally staying out of Org. So, social isolation was a thing back in the day, as well. We still got together for raids, but it isn't hard to cleanse a raid group if you need to.

Btw so far as I know during the Gurubashi assault on Stormwind the Gurubashi didn't nearly overwhelm Medivh, more like the opposite. He went full Guardian on them and broke the Gurubashi that day almost on his own.

I like to think that Hakkar is the current form of Sethe (the primal god of Draenor) that after being killed by Anzu transformed within the Shadowlands after consuming souls (earning the title of Soulflayer).

But then that would be inconsistent with his origin as a Wild God, which are older than Sethe and the others. Otherwise I guess it could have worked, with the Emerald Dream and the Wild Gods apparently having a connection to the Ardenweald in Shadowlands.

@@RileyRivalle2 Hakkar isn't a wild god. He doesn't come from Azeroth. There would be no inconsistency. Hakkar was summoned from the shadowlands, and it's been stated multiple times that there are no records of him existing on Azeroth before being summoned.

There are even items that specifically state that Hakkar is no where in any titan records. He isn't from Azeroth.

hakkar is obviously a child of the old gods, particularly from the remains of y'shaarj. this also includes gazrilla and naraxas, but the rest of y'shaarj was used to accidentally create Ghuun. i call them the twisted ones or the wicked gods

Playing with my orc in outland and i saw the naga there, they even have a full camp, Buildings and spike fence thingy. So my question is what the fuck is the naga doing in outland? What could they posibly want there of all the places!? I dont know if its Azshara or just the naga that have found something of value there and i just realized maby thats where they learned of the fel stuff sins they have bin trying out fel magic and theres even a fel male/female naga model that to my knowlage i havent seen in game ever as far as i know.

Bwon has made it clear he is about balance, and things that tip the balance too far aren't good. Hakkar explicitly wants to tip it too far, so there is no way it would make any sense for him to be Bwon's boss. I hope Bwon's boss is revealed to be a figure we've never heard anything about, and mostly I hope the same thing for the lore in Shadowlands.
