Flamelash Alliance here, I didn't play during the realm transfer period after getting to 45 in first month of launch. Logged into IF and heaps of level 1 naked tourists and hordes surrounded me like I was a history of failure exhibit. Bants

I am in one of the top guild on Flamelash E.U Alliance that transfered in that night, and when we did actually moved, we couldn't deal with this anymore, we decided togather that is time to leave this cancer and pay back these guys and lock the psychopaths there. In that night more then 10 guilds moved with massive population, the second day followed a chain of massive guilds transfers and in less then then 24h the server was literaly dead.

Former Flamelash alliance player right here i moved to Earthshaker with my guild some guilds went to Bloodfang server. I have played on Flamelash since day 1 and well server was always fucked in the end and the ones to blame are the horde for griefing us over and over i know its a pvp server i just feelt that being camped over and over even at spirit resser also in Ironforge was to much for me in the end .. atleast on Earthshaker i have a fighting chance and its not 1vs10 all the time lol. Like i said i feelt harrased to no end by horde on Flamelash which is why i moved away in the end and sure its both blizz and the hordes fault for this.. Blizz for not doing anything about population ratio and horde for griefing alliance into moving off the server in the end. We sat in discord discussing this for couple days and then we moved .. now iam happy i can acually do shit instead of seeing 10+ horde every corner and then get camped for 2-3 hours until i logg off or HS to ironforge

the server did not start as 9:1 ratio... according to blizzard it was 6:4. So alliance were just being pussies. A few started leaving and quiting and were making the situation worse and worse and int eventually sky-rocketed with the free transfer, which completly destroyed the server beyond repair. Blaming 1 faction for KILLING you in a pvp enviroment is lame...the blame is all yours for not trying to fight back from the start...Instead u were hiding and the casuals were suffering and were quiting all the time, making the situation worse each day. I like how everyone is such a big pussy and blames the horde faction... for what? for pvping in a pvp server...great Why u didn't start to a pve server then if u are such a pussy? 10v1 all the time my ass... it wasn't like that since day 1 or anything.

Not entirely true. The balance before was much worse than 60:40. something like 10 large guilds migrated out and now theres a huge imbalance. Wouldn't say its 95:5 but it's very 1 sided. A lot of horde left too as soon as this happened. Server transfers were active for 1 more day and some people from my guild left too, just happened to have been one of the top pvpers on the server with enough honor for top pvp ranks (if they weren't restricted) in the first 2 weeks.

It is actually not easier to get rank 14 on a dead server. You need 250 characters on your faction to get 15 hks a week. so unless you plan on opening multiple accounts. its really not any easier

Im a Knight Alliance shadow priest on Flamelash and I can confirm it was not 60/40 ratio, it was 75/25 and the horde NEVER stormed the gates of ironforge. We never died in ironforge either unless a couple of rogues were at the mystic ward killing afks. Chinese whispers eh.

I play on flamelash and i can tell you horde never camped stormwind or ironforge..... all pictures from hhorde in ironforge are after the ally switched server.

6zero9 have you actually been out there? Or just siting in IF or SW? I was doing Daily pvp 400hks a day as alliance it was tough but no where near as people describe it. Yes BRM was a meat grinder but isnt it always like that? People were just crying to much!

Blizzard isn't faultless in this, but anybody who camps and farms like those people did on Flamelash while saying they are more at fault is basically telling the police it's not their fault they beat a guy's face in while he was down but rather the bystander that didn't intervene. It's like shooting someone, then saying you're not as much to blame as the guy that gave you the gun. It's stupid.

I agree but the devs are also at fault. No openness about faction balance so people can decide what they join, adding honor late instead of day 1, adding honor without bgs. They implemented it really badly and private server devs knew this would happen

just ruined their own server tbh. Now these PvP gods cant pvp cause they were so toxic the entire server left so they ruined wpvp. You can spin it as a flex i guess but at the end of the day those players that love pvp so much are going to have endless bg queues and no world pvp. Why is everyone blaming horde? We massively outnumbered the alliance. Of course it was gonna feel like you were constantly dying. Just so you know, kargath, camp mojache, the bulwark and many other places were constantly being camped by allies (mainly rogues). If you tried walking into an inn by yourself at camp mojache you'd probably die. The only difference between horde and alliance is that horde had many more opportunities to display this behaviour because there were less allies to push them back. I feel sorry for allies on flamelash because they had to deal with a shitty situation, but blaming it on horde is dumb. I even tried to ignore allies at some point, but they always attacked me (which is natural) and before the fight could get anywhere another 4/5 horde would randomly show up and swarm the poor guys.

@Seaworth I think you're confusing camp mojache and camp taurajo. Camp mojache is in feralas. I wouldn't know about allies in barrens cos I only played on my level 60 during phase 2.

It's a behaviour that is not exclusive to one faction. The truth is that we are all players, both on horde and alliance. Most of us just want to have a good time. Some players are dickheads. I'm not trying to defend horde because I feel like I have some affiliation to them (even though I play horde). But the way I see it, this whole problem came about because of server imbalance and nothing else, so if we keep pretending that it was due to toxic players then we'll end up having more servers like flamelash.

Here on Gehennas we have a horde advantage but the APES and SALADBAKERS, Hanterbart makes us feel we are a minority. They are really good positioned and top players! A fresh noob want to play a human, that's the problem. if you're playing a human delete shat shit and go back to retail.

Really, zergfests with hundreds lags dont even let you to play properly, you talk without experiencing live, some places such as tanaris we got instakilled that server was completely damaged by horde zergfests
