I don’t have a dog anymore, but I miss giving my old dogs (all of whom have crossed the rainbow bridge) walks, filling their food/water bowls while they look on in excitement, and even laying next to them on the floor or couch just to see them be happy with a few little tail wags knowing they’re in a safe, loving place.

I can’t watch this video. I’m crying reading the title. I have the most wonderful little long haired dachshund and she is my best friend. When she passes they will have to lock me up in a padded room. Much love to you both and I hope one day you will find room in your hearts for a new little friend but he/she can’t replace Justin.

Loosing a dog is one of the hardest things in the world. The only thing that I found help me is to get another dog, you can never replace your previous dog but it helps to have someone else to give attention and love to. Your hurt will probably never go away but it can get manageable.

That’s what I did. My soulmate was hit by a car when he bolted out from the house. I was devastated. I still am. But we adopted a goofy gal named Gidget. She is so precious to me. She likes to run in circles and smiles contagiously. I call her my healer doggo. Im sorry for your loss of any kind and send blessings. Us animal/pet folks understand each other on another level, and I’m grateful for it.

Damn it I'm not sobbing.....you where the best dads ever and he knew it,and you 3 where lucky to find each other. I miss my fur babies everyday...my heart broke loosing them. But the vet words gave such comfort...they re time with us is finite but they love us with everything they have and when they leave they take a part of us with them to give us space for another....I hope those words give you both a bit of comfort they did me. So damn sad about this. Was already bawling my eyes out when I saw him some weeks ago after the initial diagnosis in his place where Shinichi filmed him. What a beautiful memory of Justin. I have tears running down my face. Not long ago my cat Pudgy, got sick and she passed from heart failure. I look at the videos and pictures and remember her.
