this was in my hometown. i remember people standing corners with signs for her. i looked a lot like her and we were the same age when she went missing, and at the vigil some reporters for the local news actually asked me if my parents were my actual parents. that was always so crazy to think about, how maybe they saw me and got a little hope. growing up and learning more about this case is truly heartbreaking. she would’ve turned 20 this year.

@@Sweet_suzuki Ok now see, the way she worded it was she “never lets her children go anywhere” and never “let’s her children walk alone” Maybe it was just bad phrasing on her part and what she meant was she doesn’t let her kids out of her sight, but it made it sound like she doesn’t allow her kids to do *anything* … That’s what I was responding to. I agree that very young children shouldn’t be out alone. But they should be allowed to have some kind of life where they can do things and go places with supervision.

@@whitneyangelie3682 she’s saying she doesn’t make her children walk alone or go anywhere alone, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t make them go anywhere, they still go places. As someone who has both bipolar disorder as well as borderline personality disorder and has a daughter who will be turning 4 in April, I could never fathom causing harm to my daughter- even when manic or splitting. I cannot personally speak on behalf of schizophrenia, but bd or bdp would never cause anyone to do this, and I personally think that given the fact she's caused severe harm to others on 5 separate occasions, I definitely think she should get the death penalty.

As well I have both disorders and there's a fine line to to harming someone else and ourself. If unchecked. This person is just a psychopath plain and simple. And from what I gather from other videos her life in prison is going to suck inmates do not like certain kind of crimes and they're going to pay. It's truly horrible I cannot fathom hurting somebody else to that point. And just dance !!! ( We all need to stop using a mental illness to cover our crimes up.! It's so much easier to put a label on it and lock them away in a metal institution when they tribute in prison.) I WAS TOLD EARLY ON BECAUSE OF MY DISORDER I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING I DID ANY REPERCUSSIONS .!! (IT WAS A GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD THAT HAD NO LIMITS.!) THEN ONE DAY I WAS SAT DOWN THE MOST PART SLEPT IN THE FACE I AM RESPONSIBLE AND IT CHANGED MY LIFE! Just because someone is mentally ill does not make them how do you say responsible. With all the crazy crap going around society government City officials it's more easy to put a Band-Aid on it and can't keep letting it going on then so. She's responsible she has a mind any metal disorder should be taken to affect but yes they are responsible they don't take their meds or they wanted to go through life etc etc excuse excuse excuse. I'm responsible for me not anybody else. I'm bipolar personality disorder and a couple of more just to add to the top of the cake which means I have to be more diligent to make sure I don't mess up I am responsible. And when you take me slotsability things change. Great video sad result I'm hoping she gets her pie and cake and a good beating where she's at and then you don't need the death penalty it's called Justice. Sorry I get angry when they throw mental health into it like we're all a bunch of God damn killers and we're not. Just a few psychopaths that got to get thrown in with a good bunch of nuts and make us all look bad. I'm sorry this was done with spell check so if it's messed up not always my fault LOL

I heard a similar case,which took place on Budapest,in 1951.A young girl's body was discovered under the constructed bridge.The detective started the investigation,by sharing all the photos taken from the child.The girl was identified called Marika,and the cause of death was strangulation by a mid-thick hemp rope(it's called hemp rope,seriously).On the same day,a mother came to the police station and reported her daughter missing.Later she identified the dead girl as her child.Then the mother called Mária testified,that they were shopping,and bought to Marika a red summerdress,white sandals,and a pair of pearl earrings.Later Mária escorted her daughter out to the trolley station,so she would travel to her grandma.But something came along and the mother left.And she never saw Marika again.The next day the mother was called back to the police station,to declare a few things.This time,the detective asked her,if she really saw her daughter taking the trolley,but this time she answered no.Then she was told,that she couldn't have bought anything,because the shoe part was closed.And other witnesses saw her coming back without her child.Later the mother,waking up after losing consciousness,crying,she admitted that she murdered Marika.Close to midnight,they were walking at Duna square,when they decided to have a little nap at the stairs,close to the costructed bridge.They were talking,and a little later,Marika felt a bit sleepy,and leant her head into her mother's lap.Mária used this vulnerable position to strangle her daughter.And she did it,because she was born out of wedlock,and men wouldn't take a stepchild so well.Later,the Highest Court,actually planning the death penalty(because Mária premeditated this awful murder),but then sentenced her to life in prison with no possibility for any parole.

Less than a minute in, “she was a Sunday school teacher.“ is that supposed to mean she’s not capable of murder? To anybody who watches a lot of crime videos, there’s a great deal, many of them that are religious, pastors and ministers, churchgoing folks, never miss a service, who do the most evil crimes. Religion is a crutch that a lot of people hide behind. . . ‘Oh, he’s the pastor of our church, never would he do that!’ Oh yeah? You do not have to go to church to believe in God and be a Christian. So, to all you people out there who think the religious, church goes are all just wonderful people, think again. That’s actually really normal when you live in trailer parks or certain apartment complexes. Since it’s built more like a “community” than regular single family homes the kids usually have a bit more freedom. But I don’t think that has any bearing on this case anyways. That woman was Sandra’s friend’s mom and Sunday school teacher. Even the strictest of parents usually won’t hesitate to let their kids around an adult figure like that.

I know...I grew up in northern Alabama, the foothills of the Appalachians...the terrain was challenging. All "hills and hollers". Our land was thickly forested... except for a few fields it was mostly timber and as a small child I wandered over it alone most days. I could walk all day on our land and I would still be on it...of course, that's a child ambling along at a child's pace. There were many poisonous snakes...copperheads and water moccasins mostly. Lots of places to fall. Deer and other wildlife. Countless ways I could have been hurt. Yet my family never seemed especially worried.

As someone with generations of family impacted by bipolar and borderline, I don't think this was premeditated. I think this crime was acted out because of coming across that article and becoming fixated on it during an episode. My mother has several month long delusions due to becoming fixated on a piece of information while in a manic episode (which can last months). Honestly, a lot of this woman's prior behaviors also seem like impulsive behaviors like this. I wonder if they are also tied to her own previous experiences she's fixated on. She's guilty and what she did is irredeemable but it is intriguing how much this intertwines with textbook definitions of her disorders

I was watching a documentary on women who killed. According to this particular TV show, Melissa was JEALOUS of Sandra. She hated that her daughter was paying more attention to Sandra than she was to her, so she set out to kill Sandra. She kidnapped Sandra, smothered and strangled her to death, violated her with a metal rolling pin handle to make it look like a man had committed the crime. But she couldn't keep her mouth shut!! She was NOT having a psychotic episode, she knew EXACTLY what she was doing! I even believe she WANTED to be found out. Why do I share my name with this monster? X

I am a survivor with a mom that had munchousens by proxy and I was SEVERLY abused and a bit neglected. It is so so sad that this condition and illness mostly go unnoticed and people refuse help when they need it. KNOW EXACTLY WHO YOU ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO BE AROUND. I would NEVER harm a child in anyway shape or form it is truly sickening when I hear of such stories like this makes my heart completely devastated. Also victims of someone who munchousin by proxy don't survive I am lucky and feel for people that go through any abuse I am so very sorry to the little girls family and friends

I’m honestly confused but do you, I ain’t holding Yo as- back.
@yolandawilson6619
@yolandawilson6619 2 жыл бұрын
@@Berriyes ??? I didn't say you said anything about gender. You asked why her "outbreaks" weren't enough to get her help. That wouldn't be a question or concern had a Male did this. Even in this case they literally tried to find any psychological reasoning they could to remove the responsibility of this heinous crime from Melissa. She didn't need help, she needed to be incarcerated the first time she drugged someone. My question has nothing to do with being for nor against either gender. It has to do with the consideration given to this sick perpetrator and other female perpetrators people take a sympathetic or concerning approach to when they wouldn't do that for Male perpetrators. This woman is a diabolical psychopath. To answer your question, no, I don't have anything against men nor women. I do find it disturbing how female perpetrators are handled with such concern when they commit these types of crimes.
