One thing I gotta give Mick Foley credit for was helping elevate 3 guys who would go on to become future main event stars for the company in HHH, Orton and Edge.
@Jeffery-Vanity-Blofield3 жыл бұрын
He did it for the rock too. The rock would of been big anyway but before Foley, he was never seen as real main event threat. Foley, helped legitimise the rock so he could be a real threat to stone cold at wresltmania 15. It worked so foley did the same for hhh a year later

@@Y2Kaynen87 He was already there and would of got there too yes, i did say that. Back in 99 though, before he turned baby face again for his huge run in late 99/2000, he was not quite there, up there yes but not truly there yet. Austin was the guy and Rock was finding his way in. Rocks feud as a heel with Micky Foley is what solidified The Rock as a main event player,. it showed people that he could be ruthless and hold his own when it comes to main event matches. Then when he turned face, the transformation was complete and the new face of the company was born.. The formula worked so they got Foley to do it for HHH, Orton, Edge.
@SteRDLK3 жыл бұрын
@@Jeffery-Vanity-Blofield He did it for Undertaker in 1996 as well, in the sense that Taker stopped being just some giant to face a revolving door of monster heels, and developed into more of human character through their feud.
