If the heart of ender makes wither noises when defeated, does this mean that the reason disc 5 has endersent and heart of ender noises was because what actually happens in it is the Warden is used to fight off the heart back during its first invasion of the overworld when it was locked away?

I just finished watching this. I had a feeling the Enderlings weren't hostile by nature. It's nice to have that pretty much confirmed. Also, the "you're not supposed to be here" moment with the Blastlings in the Desert Temple was pretty funny. Definitely my favorite part of the video. :)

Something I hope happens with a potential Dungeons sequel is the Nether taking the role of main antagonist again, since the illagers even after Archie’s defeat were basically the main antagonists, as well as the Heart of Ender. Perhaps if the new main antagonist could be the Seer as well as a new Pigman King, since the Piglins probably would take the chance for revenge after their loss hundreds of years ago. Maybe the Undead and the Nameless king could forge an alliance with the Nether, forcing the illagers to team up with the villagers again, against the combined threat of the Nether and Undead.

Piglin machinery and civilisation is something I really want to see more of in vanilla Minecraft. You see it so much in legends and dungeons, and there's even some examples of it in the movie trailer. Would be so cool to see them using ghasts as turrets or setting up settlement in crimson forests.

Okay so, as far as I can tell; The Humans have a civilization based around horses; they use them to transport items, facilitating trade over wide regions, thus allowing society and civilization to thrive via long-distance trade. They realize the importance of these horses, and build statuary of them in town squares, often depicted as rearing. A group of Villagers that live in a desert village figure out how to get to The Nether. There, they find Soul Sand, and use it to create Soul Magic and Soul Enchantments, as evidenced by the soul lantern item. The humans also use Phantoms and parts thereof to make armor that only they have, as phantoms only spawn around humans. Humans in northern lands make great castles, and one king even ventures to The End, slaying The Ender Dragon, possibly multiple. Then, the desert villagers develop Necromancy; summoning undead servants wit soul magic, and some becoming undead Necromancers themselves. From the deserts, these Villagers begin to create an Empire under The Nameless King. They go to war with the piglins of The Nether, creating Nether Fortresses and manning them with Wither Skeletons, some even using the explosive "desert snake" bows, but those raised from Piglins sharing their distinct waddle, and wielding swords. Eventually, this empire conquers even the Human Civilization, some of which kneel under their rule, but many of the humans venture into The End in hopes to escape. This saves them, but they are trapped, unable to return to a home that was taken from them, and they abandon the overworld. These humans (and a few villagers that went with them) scatter out into the end, making End Cities, harnessing Shulkers for power, but eventually, the Void Liquid slowly corrupts them, and they become Endermen. Meanwhile, in the Overworld, The Nameless King's Empire begins to have a food issue: their desert homes are no longer viable to feed their now-prosperous empire. Perhaps inspired by the practice of fishing, they look to the Sea. They had a mighty, proud empire, they conquered the players, they conquered even Hell Itself; surely, with their magic and undead armies, they could conquer the seas. And so, with powerful Hearts of the Sea, they build mighty underwater temples, using sponges prolificly, and begin to revere the Eternal Netherrack Flames that enable them to dry the sponges even deep beneath the surface of the waves. Somehow, though, something goes wrong. Perhaps their Guardians turn on them, perhaps their human slaves revolt, but all but the undead necromancers are slain, lost to the waves, almost all of their Hearts of the Sea seemingly stolen. What few survive are pale of skin, and, tainted by dark magic, can intermingle with monsters. They become the Illagers, a nuisance on Villages, but no major threat. Then, born among them, is The Arch-illager, who is shunned for his mutated form. He goes to the villagers, but they're justifiably racist against illagers, and this spawns in him a Spite that fuels his quest for revenge. A quest that takes him to a mysterious abandoned temple, where The Orb of Dominance, an artifact possibly made by the Endermen, rests. It grants him the power to control minds, but corrupts his spite at the villagers into an unwavering desire for conquest. He uses strange golems found in the same temple to design Redstone Golems, unites the Illager Tribes, and marches on all Villager-Kind. The Piglins, after discovering Netherite, and rediscovering the semi-automatic crossbows they had used against the necromancers all those centuries ago, created a prototype Fully Automatic Crossbow, which was stolen by the Arch-illager. The Arch-illager discovers the old Stronghold of the old Human Empire, and sends expeditions there out of curiosity, wherein his wizards make End Magic. Humans, who had escaped the starving Nameless Kingdom, made a mutually beneficial relationship with the villagers, but when The Arch-Illager sent his armies and Golems, none could defend, none but four legendary heroes. They stop the Redstone forges, free the captured villagers, and retake the ancient hold of Highblock Castle, and on the Obsidian Pinnacle, defeat the Arch Illager, free him from the corruption of The Orb Of Dominance, now also known as The Heart Of Ender, and destroy it. But its shards scatter across the world and begin causing calamities, so the Legendary Heroes hunt them down. The Piglins, now rediscovered by human adventurers picking through the remains of the Illager Mansions, defend their home against these invaders, but nothing comes of these scuffles save some looting. Endermen, perhaps guided by the sentient Endersent, who seem to be corrupted villagers, retake the broken core of the Heart Of Ender, but when it is returned to The End, something goes wrong, perhaps it corrupts an endermite, because it turns into a horrific endermite-controlling monstrosity which would later be called The Broken Heart Of Ender. The Legendary Heroes, prompted by the powerful and destructive endersent, find the Stronghold, venture through The End, and slay The Broken Heart Of Ender, returning home through The Fountain. This story is told through items and environmental storytelling.

From my guess and what we know, they could be used maybe like drones or direct puppets by the Endersent with the usage of telekinetic forces. But them having leftover animalistic behaviors or tendencies is very likely. Mainly with the other Enderlings like Watchlings and Snareling being corrupt versions of Zombies and spiders due to their sounds.

i had a theory about these shards a while back, perhaps these locations were places the orb had visited before being sealed away, its memory/mind was shattered and so it could only return to places it remembered. in the frozen tundra and howling peaks contained various siege based weapons, indicating a war, I theorized that many of the denizens of the overworld fought each other to get their hands on the orb for its knowledge. to back this claim, in the golem forge of their were blueprints with of the golems arms which shared the design of the nashers in the end dlc, perhaps this was some of the knowledge shared by the orb during its reign

with Steve, Alex, and the other guys, they are either dead, or haven't even been born, the heros in MCD could be either their ancestors or descendants, but Mojang never explained where in the timeline MCD takes place, unlike MCL where it is certainly the start of the whole story and lore.

There is actually an official reason. In the Minecraft game design rule book it specifically says that Steve and Alex are never supposed to canonically appear in any spinoff games which is why they’re playable as characters but not in the story

22:22 that's where you're wrong: the boss arena room has a throne, and statues of a player standing over an ender dragon corpse. The mines in that region also show signs of player activity: in multiple places is a crafting table right next to a furnace, A pair of blocks unique to player interaction and iconic among the community. Also, the lost settlement sometimes spawns with one or more statues depicting a kneeling player in phantom armor, bearing a shield and glaive identical to the nameless kingdom's skeleton soldiers, that glaive specifically being described as only used by the servants of the nameless kingdom, and thus proving that the nameless kingdom once ruled over at least some of the humans.

I know it was wearing Phantom Armor though, and the shield it wielded was not exactly the same as the Nameless Kingdom Skeletons, but the glaive was Identical. I don't remember exactly, but I can open it up and run that level till I find it again if you want.

You probably realized this and didn't feel like including it, but the "secret cow level" is something found in a bunch of games, going back to Diablo. I think this is particularly on purpose since Dungeons has the same isometric camera angle.

I feel like the base game centers around the overworld, Legands centers around the nether, and Dungeons centers around the End. Plus I have some evidence for the flames of the nether dlc being connected to the story. You see when the ambush gates raise, we see a purple mist surrounding the blackstone. The same mist found in all of the ambushes made by Archie, or the shard barers... whatever the hell you call em. I have a theory that maybe there was never a shard that entered the nether, but somehow, a bit of it's presence slipped into it, probably related to the seer and all that stuff. And therefore, the presence of the orb trapped the heroes in the nether to make sure the remaining shards can still carry on. Hence why alot of descriptions say to "Find a new portal" so that the heroes can escape. Maybe that's why there is a broken portal, maybe somehow it was destroyed on the overworld side. Or it could just be that the heroes are so lazy to place on single block to get back in and want a free vacation from saving the world.

I personally think the Vengeful Heart of Ender was once the ruler of the End, but then when we defeated it the Ender Dragon came in to spread his infection making it become from a landscape full of variety and life (the End from MC Dungeons), to the desolate wasteland we explore in classic Minecraft, the dragon also wiped out some species of enderlings, that's why we only see Endermen. Oh, in Dungeons we also see that Watchlings were way more common than Endermen in the End, but with their extinction Endermen spread all over the dimension.

The orb clearly came from Minecraft Legends, with the Zoologist Piglin (I just started playing idk their names) wielding the old Orb of Dominance. When the majority of the Piglin race died out, only the most powerful Piglin’s soul was chosen to inhabit the orb as a second chance at world domination, similar to the orb turning Archy into the Heart of Ender, to give him one last chance to defeat his foes.

16:30 the arcade version is a canon prequel to the original game, at least obsidian pinnacle is (idk about everything else) you can see that the OP (obisidian pinnacle) is very damged and ruined in dungeons. In the arcade version the OP is in near perfect condition. This is most noticeable in the obsidian arena areas, which are just flat chunks of obsidian and in the official version thaey are broken, with water and lava everywhere. The obsidian monstrosity is actually the final boss of the arcade version (meaning it gets destroyed) we can assume that the arcade version or some other off-screen events are what damaged the OP. It can be assumed that the broken obsidian monstrosity is hanged up there.

25:30 I disagree, I think that this shard was in creeper woods, not the stronghold. The creeper woods might have had spruce trees too, and in the endersent route of creeper woods,we can see the famous creeper head statue turn into a enderman head with a hole in it (where the orb would have been)

Eyes are seemingly an important topic here. The end has a LOT of eye imagery: enderman getting mad if you see their eyes, watchings having dozens of eyes, the heart of ender's perfect form (vengeful heart) has several eyes, "you feel as if the very void itself is watching you." Etc. The guardians have one eye, like endermites, and the abyssal monument has doors and walls with eyes on them, it seems as if the abyssal monument had also been made partly by enderlings, not just the gale sactum.

I think there is lore to the nether in dungeons, but it relies on Legends. I think the Piglins are trying to come back to the overworld because they have heard of the orb of dominance being used again; last they heard of it was from their invasion of the overworld in the corrupted beacon. This story wasn’t fully fleshed out because they hadn’t made Minecraft legends yet

Id say the orb shards are a fraction of the will power. It spreads it equally but the intelligence/soul is like an ant, the bigger the shard the more will and intelligence it gains. Being shards would sightly weaken but massively spread it's domain but it has no _effective_ mind

@@Casual_guy1234 😂 yeah that's the worst part they never allocated enough to actually make the game worth it in the end, that little bit of budget that they made for the game wasn't enough and so they should have just worried about the updates that they had and then just let it be and then work on Legends but instead they wanted to try and be like any other larger game studio with a larger budget but because they're run by Microsoft you know that's where we ended up with it
