Much like Chromie and Khadgar, Gazlowe is one of those recurring characters that's always fun to see show up. Story's always better when those three show up

I love Chromie but her problem is that she's being constantly used as a host for some major mechanics and systems in the game rather than letting have her own bizzare story. Blizzard is turning her into the Clippy of WoW.

I learned from the RPG-book that the Cartels have official rank names. The leader is called Trade Prince, that title should be known to most. Their direct executive is called Mogul. An example is Mogul Razdunk in the Motherlode in BfA. This also means that we haven't seen the Venture Company's trade prince yet. The landlord of a Cartel's many locations is called Baron. An example is Baron Revilgaz, member of the Steamwheedle cartel and Baron of Booty Bay. Gazlowe used to be the Baron of Ratchet and Noggenfogger is the Baron of Gadgetzan. The RPG-Book is not really canon, but the titles have been used correctly so far.

Weirdly enough, Noggenfogger in the anniversary area is now called the Baron of Gadgetzan. Technically correct but he's also the Trade-prince, so why use the lower tittle?

First thing I thought of when I learned that bit about beledar was that kaja'mite may be something similar. Rather than made of light and void it could be fel and arcane or something to explain the chaotic intelligence boost.

17:35 Weird how some things shown in the memory questline don't quite match up, like the Coreway shown here yet doesn't look like the Coreway we can see. Sure they're both long shafts, but one is a cylinder & other not. The one shown looks more like the stuff you can see in Northrend

To be fair what the disc shows is likely the original configuration/design...what we see in game is what was built and how it looks thousands and thousands of years and a Shattering and Cataclysm later

It's not the algorithm, it's mostly a lack of interest. Very few youtube channels have subs or watchers that stick around for more than a year or 2. I'm subbed to channels that I don't watch for years or months that I keep forgetting to unsubscribe from

with the goblin dungeon, it's without a doubt they're planning for a goblin patch. Seems out of left field for this expansion but I guess they just want to wrap up storylines during this trilogy

I like the idea of less shady goblins but who are no less firm in looking out for themselves. Like, class solidarity goblins. Which would make them even harder to deal with if you're not 100% on their side, because you can't just bribe one. Unionised goblins.

While it isn't a good theory i hold onto the idea of the old gods (at least the ones on Azeroth) didn't actually want to corrupt Azeroth. They tasted her power and realized that it is better to keep her away from everyone than to use her because of how powerful she was. The reason i believe this is that they were free to do as they with for years before the titans ever found Azeroth and had ample time to do what they needed to, even while imprisoned they had a link to Azeroth but she doesn't seem to have any ill intentions against anything.

@@JJJBunney001 kind of, I mean Argus was a baby titan and he was fairly capable off rip. Odds are if he wasn't tortured to feel nothing but pain he probably would have functioned more like how the titans do.

At best each crystal will be of one of the primal forces of light/dark, life/death and order/disorder and a main crystal of spirit. With the short showing of Hydaelyn maybe more apt then we can currently know. This is assuming that our lovecraft fanboys at blizzard are willing to step away from 'in the end all is pointless' which is among the madness of lovecraft one of the main themes. And the future titles for the expansions do not give me a good feeling there.

nah it's good that Gallywix got replaced he had absolutely no redeeming feature wich is bad for a leader of a playable race who kinda represents you in the game world and story. sylvanas for example had great achievements in the past and cared deeply for her people. and besides there weren't many lore relevant goblins that could counteract gallywix. I am glad he is pushed away from the horde

Never understood the point of replacing galywix with gazlowe. If goblin society is based purely meritocratic based on profit then he surely is the best one. All this talk of reform sings to me of talk that will take away what makes them so special and make them out to be as half naked as everyone else.

No profit to be made if nobody trusts you enough to make deals with you. And no profit to be made if you can't get workers because your competition is offering better pay and benefits. A union focused group of goblins fits pretty well. You can't really have a capitalism themed group without labour movements showing up, because they're an inevitable component. They *only* aren't a massive part of daily life IRL because of consistent, concerted efforts to destroy them in the west.

I think they replaced or gonna replace him because A: he directly betrayed the Horde together with Sylvanas and B: he went off to the Shadowlands, so he literally wasn't around to do the job anymore. He pretty much quit.

Wait, was it the old lore or do i mix it up that Goblins where once Trolls that got experimentet on by other Trolls with Alchemy? (Thats why they got the Alchemy race passive) Or did they change this along the way?

If the crystals are calcified worldsoul essence then why does beledar shift from light to shadow? I think this is foreshadowing Azeroth being potentially antagonistic in this story rather than a savior...

I'm not a fan of them humanising Goblins, Blizzard has done this to the Night Elfs, Orcs and pretty much every other race.

I think the short story from Cata and the one from MoP did a great job of characterizing Gallywix and Goblins in general in a way that made them able to be fully-fledged characters with some depth while also maintaining their "otherness" and the established Goblin characteristics. Shame they decided to not develop further on that in-game.
