Beautifully told! Jazakallah khair Sheikh ❤. I've been listening to your talks since 2005 when I was at uni subhanallah! I was wondering (not sure if you'll see this). Could you do a lecture solely based on extremely weak imaan? Since becoming a mother, I find it hard to focus on salaah and use the excuse that being a mother is rewarding. I end up doing my salaah half heartedly and rushed. My imaan has also massively dipped since seeing the atrocities going on. My head is trying to comprehend how can this happen to so many people. Babies. Women, children. I know Allah provides alhamdulilah. I know there is a bigger goal. But I'm really finding it so hard yo take in and my imaan has gotten so weak. I am not the only person either. Many people I have spoken to have said the same. I have images ingrained into my mind of children's body parts hanging out of them women holding their babies and children who are no longer alive. How can this be happening. Why is it still happening... I know you cannot answer these questions maybe. But these are the types of queation that I and many others are thinking in our hearts which is affecting our imaan. I'm embarrassed that I'm opening up so much publicly but hoping that it gets back to you and perhaps you can do a quick lecture? 🙈🥹 Jazakallah khair!

Qur'an 28:5-6 "but We wished to favour those who were oppressed in that land, to make them leaders, the ones to survive, - to establish them in the land, and through them show Pharaoh, Haman, and their armies the very thing they feared." I think the "thing they feared" refers to the dream of pharaoh mentioned by people of the book. Since this happened after Yusuf a.s and his dream interpretations, dreams must have become a really important thing in ancient egyptian culture. Allah knows best, but if Allah showed the dream to pharaoh which made him afraid of the boys of israelites and then it unfolded all of these events, it justs creates awe for the grand plan of Allah and how He authors our lives. There are many paralells to our current situation, I think all of us are aware of this. Inside the occupying state, there are rabbis permitting the ki-lling of children, saying "they will became 'ter-roris-ts' when they grow up"... May Allah grant patience to the Palestinians, to the Lebanese and all those who are effected by the cursed entity. Situation is dire but don't become hopeless, victory is near. Believers win in any case and we accept Allah's decree.

Assallamu Alaikum. I have a question. As someone who has a chronic illness. Migraines that get so bad to the point where it's utterly debilitating for me. When I have these episodes, I cannot tolerate light, a lot of movements, mostly just lying on the bed in a dark place. Bending becomes difficult. So whenever it comes to Salah, I normally light a dim torch so that the light does not injure my sensitive eyes. Is it okay for me to pray while sitting down during these migraine episodes?

Anytime I would hear people explain these verses they would always do a jump to certain scenes, for example the magicians becoming Muslim, or baby Musa (peace be upon him) being placed in the river. There is so much to discuss and I understand the need for doing this. I don’t recall anyone going over it like this. And I’ve always been curious as to what it actually meant, the hand turning white? White how? What did this mean? How was it a sign for Pharoah? And how did Musa kill a man? Who was the man that came running from the farthest part of the city? How many years contract did Musa fulfill 8 or 10? How did the sea split? What exactly was the area on mount tur looking like, the significance of the bush? What did pharaoh mean when he said give me a ladder, was it sarcasm? Where is midian? Despite reading these verses multiple times, I had these questions, that are now answered. Thank you ever so much for bridging the gap in my understanding. There’s a time and a place for beneficial knowledge and it’s an honour to have it come from you. May Allah bless you.
