The Story Of Noisy-le-Grand's Abandoned Metro Gets Even Weirder

They invited me back to the abandoned metro station in Noisy-le-Grand, and asked if I wanted to go down the tunnel. Bit of a silly question really, isn't it? But the more we explore, and the more we find out, the weirder the story gets...

I live not far from Noisy-le-Grand, and when I was a child I used to watch a lot of things about public transport in the Ile-de-France region, and I remember being fascinated about the SK. So when I saw his video about the temporary opening I was I had missed that (since it is unique), but now I hope there will be more tour ! And I will go to the exposition too !

I didn't know “Blinding Lights” but I could tell it was a particular tune with a particular connection. “Come on Feel the Noise” = "“Come Down and See Le Noisy Station”, brilliant. The piano that starts around 1:08 as Tim talks about the exhibition is the music that was played on the kids TV programme "Take Hart" in the 70s. :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/amfMZHRjo66hitU

Hello! I'm here at Palacio de Abraxas, the least used station on the Noisy-le-grand pod metro network. I'm toold, by the silent station master with no eyes, that a pod is due any moment now. There it is! I did initially think that there would be a lot of pods coming, one after the other, but he assures me that this is how it should be. Wow, that actually physically hurts to look at. I'll just peek through my fingers. An unusual amount of screaming and blood for a system like this, so quite quirky. Let's go.

Noisy also has near there the Abraxas Palace which is a housing complex designed by Riccardo Bofill, it's so iconic and bizarre it has been featured in many dystopian films including Terry Gilliam's Brazil and recent Hunger games movie. It's quite interesting, unfortunately the area isn't very safe (true to it's dystopian appearance I guess) so I'm not sure I'd recommend the visit. Shame because many people would be interested.
