As for me, the story of this friendship is one of the best and the most tragic stories ever. It's so complicated and so well written, actors did their job just perfect. I hate people simplify this story telling Ibrahim never thought of Suleiman as a real friend. The whole point is there really was friendship. There was sincere friendship covered in politics, arrogant and greed, trust issues and cruelty, slavery and all. Ibrahim basically killed himself with his attitude, he was cruel and cunning, he lies to Suleiman million of times but at the same time he really loved him. Suleiman made all this situation himself, he never completely trusted Ibrahim, he never understood the slavery issue and he killed Ibrahim breaking his oath. At the same time Suleiman really loved him. I think I will never forget that scene where Suleiman hear Ibrahim's violin. He shudders, goes out onto the balcony and sees Huricihan playing the violin. Every time I see this scene I want to cry.
