I was in the same, church & high School with Patti. I saw her emerge as a singer, even though a teacher in our senior year told her, she wouldn't be able to sing her way through life. Do something else. I was & am so elated to see & hear do just that. Sing her way through life, by the grace of God, I got to watch her rise to success. Thank God.

I've been following Patti ever since she was 13 yrs. old because I was a singer. I joined a female group in 1962. I loved Patti soulful voice and their harmony. Before Patti it was The Chantels for lead and harmony. I got the "Moon Shadow" album. Loved the harmony! Strong and ass kicking sound. I had at lead 4 favorites on that album. "Touch Me In the Morning" written by Nonah was one of them it was a awesome song. All three ladies could sing on their own however Patti had that "aggressive going for the throat attitude" she got real ugly reaching out for those bad-ass high notes! She is a great actress as well. Love her personality. She is sooo humble. Now the pies!!!!! Oh my my my! You go Patti! I better stop now because I could go on and on about Patti. Wishing her the best of health and prosperity for many years to com.

Girl, I'm working on a book right now about why I never signed to a major record company. The music business will chew you up and spit you out!The book I'm working on is about the music business and my phony ass adoption. All I can say is that when in doubt have your DNA tested. Ancestry is helping find my bio mother! I've been through hell and back. Patti is good people and keeps it real. Many moons ago I met one of her producers he was my coach he who wrote "I Only You Knew" for her. James Sigler (brother of Bunny Sigler) for Philadelphia International Sound Productions. Jimmy was Patti's vocal coach as well. Sigler had nothing but good things to say about her. As of the present I am still singing still enjoying her music and now the her pies. Woodson, I got some gossip inside that needs to be told. Be on the look out for my book.
