Perhaps Malchezaar was some kind of renowned prince on Argus before Sargeras came and changed everything. That would suggest other Eredar calling him by his former title of prince, acknowledge and perhaps respect his reign on Argus before the Legion, maybe? If nothing else, if we was a ruler back then, then calling him by his old title seems like a form of respect/admiration/flattery.

In some cultures, a prince/princess doesn't necessarily have to be royalty. It can also be a noble position similar to a baron or a duke. In the Warcraft universe, especially elves are known to have non- royal princes. For example, we have Prince Farondis in Azsuna who is not related to Azshara. In the story of Alodi, the first guardian, one member of the Council of Tirisfal was an elven prince who was not related to House Sunstrider. I'm a prince too, but that doesn't mean I have a claim to the throne of Quel'thalas. I'm just the head of a noble house.

Maybe, but most of the ONiK cards were at least present in Karazhan (Bornes, Moroes, The Curator, even the Big Bad Wolf. Honestly I just want a lore video on Karazhan itself, cause it's way more than Medivh's home, or the best party venue.

Kara' was meant to be the last raid of Vanilla before TBC came out which explains why there is a random Draenai at the end of it (he was meant to be the one to open the portal before Kazzak was brought back to do it).

No princes within the legion's structure but as he says he is a prince of the Eradar (of his people) and probably even though he is now a demon he still kept his royal namesake and probably his Eradar servants (and obviously gaining much more within the Legion).

Riddle me this. This was always a question of mine maybe you could shed some light on this. Back in Kara one of the drops is the great Gorehowel axe. How did he end up with it. Why did he have it. Either Blizz was like "Hrm, it'd be awesome to have Gorehowl be obtainable, but we have no real way to give it away from any of the previous owners... GIVE IT TO THE EREDAR GUY!" or this might have been one of they very first hints at Blizzard's idea that the Twisting Nether expands all realities. In fact, Malchezaar even says all realities are open to him, thus implying that Malchezaar killed Hellscream in a different reality and claimed Gorehowl for his own. For my part, I like to think it's a bit of both. XD

yeah, i think part of it is that the Legion can't normally bring things from one dimension to another, even though they can project themselves across dimensions, where as the Hourglass created a stable link between WoD Draenor's universe and ours and was the first time they could actually do something like that. Where as Karazhan perhaps also exists simultaneously across multiple worlds, but in an unstable manner that Melchazar was attempting to exploit and possibly stabilize to further his influence among the legion or possibly to make a power-play to replace Archimonde and Kil'jaeden by claiming his own infinite army.
