The Story of PUBG

Erangel doesn’t have much of a backstory. It’s a vaguely Soviet, vaguely post-apocalyptic, vaguely dystopian abandoned hell hole full of guns and homes to loot. And you and 99 strangers are jumping off of a burning plane right into it. You’re essentially jumping to your death. The parachute will ensure the fall doesn’t kill you, but once you’re down there, it’s you against the island.

@@OriginalPuro I played the first iterations of Quake, CS and Dota. They all sucked in the beginning, except for originality and fun gameplay. PubG was the same. It really has become a great game and an incredibly high skilled shooter the last 2 years. The EU/NA playerbase is dying, but the game keeps improving. CS:GO was horrible as well, but with an experienced company that had already developed their own graphics engine, it was developed quickly. Starcraft was always good.

In my view PUBG is the ultimate game. I play it almost everyday because it's the ultimate tournament. I keep going back because of the teamwork, the connections that I make while playing and it gives you an adrenaline rush when you're in it. I think even dota 1 was less popular than dota 2 simply because of the esports scene. I remember when I was playing dota 1 there were no youtube channels focusing on the game and there was not that much strategic information. Nowadays there are thousands of videos, guides and even people who are not familiar with the game itself or are not gamers know of the game, whereas that was not true of the time it was a mod.

Before the 1.0 update and xbox release, the plane used to have this burning streak coming out of the engine. Kinda made it more clear why the players are jumping out but looks like they got rid of it for better game performance.

Tbh, the mobile version is the best one. And it's free. You could also just add a controller or keyboard or mobile claw for better controls... that's just my opinion though. I mean they keep updating it and have more stuff than the actual game... so what do you think? Also fortnite copied this great game and became more popular... it's such a shame...
