Great Video. As a Syracuse, NY native current Graduate student at Cortland and an Undergraduate student from Alfred University, the thing that I think helped them was the winning culture of their athletics as a whole. A lot of Red Dragon athletic teams pride themselves as a their excellence. It is something amazing to watch as a fan and something you can respect on the opposing side. With a little bit of luck and great play from Boyes and Co. this was certainly a magical run that I will not forget.

I live now in VA. Grew up in NY and went to Alfred State (future conference rival) came down here for LU. Went to the game and was rooting for Cortland like I went there. Huge win for E8 football. Grew up going to E8 football. Now seeing a national champion is huge. Such a great conference.

Have lived in Cortland area most of my life, work for SUNY Cortland for the last 4 or 5 years. I've enjoyed getting to know some of the students. While i only casually followed their season (except Cortaca, down with IC) I'm veey pleased they won and brought some glory to the area.

We have three d3 schools in Vermont - Middlebury Caselton state Norwhich - love your videos ! Love d3/d2 and 1-AA football. I refuse to call it FCS lol . great fact first team since ‘91 in New York to win it all. Love it congrats to cortland !!

Cortland has always been great. Powerhouse in D3, just finally reaching the peak. But NY State has some great D3's. Ithaca College 3 time national champ (Cortlands biggest rival). Awesome video

Because North Central is all anyone talked about during the regular season. Because a pre-season #18 team and their fans believed in what they were capable of, despite everyone saying it was going to be a North Central vs Mount Union championship. Because it was Cortland’s year. Not North Centrals.
